The threat of taxpayers and businesses leaving the city due to the lack of protection speaks louder than a movement that was doomed to fail from the first time it was uttered.

Nah, they don't want to abolish police.

They want to get rid of the entire current (state) police force and replace them with police by a different name, just as heavily armed, but not agents of the state and under the control of "community leaders" (i.e. unelected people that muscle their way into declaring themselves as such, typically of the marxist persuasion).

They'll take government funds at a high level organization and disburse it through a few shell organizations to prevent the foot soldiers from being legal agents of the state.

That way they don't have to deal with any pesky bill of rights issues. If they want to kick in your door and ransack your house looking for "evidence" (that they may or may not plant) they can (and the evidence would be admissible in courts too....till they get the courts abolished and form their own community justice courts that they fully control). Of course they might get ventilated in the process, but then they'll just Waco the place and give 0 shits.

It's not going to be antifa soy boys busting in doors. Those are the useful idiots, not the hit squads violence interrupters/community enforcers or the people actually directing the whole thing (those people are collaborating with the CCP and, not being incompetent, are staying for enough back to maintain plausible deniability).

What would have been the most effective tactic was do what was done during 1990s riots. Which is threaten to stop any welfare to rioters and any funding to the local goverment if the violence contined. It worked wonders back then and it would work wonders now.

Depends on how long it takes the progressive wing to actually overtake the rest of the party TBH.

It's not all lefties that want shit like this. It's mostly the actual commies who pull the strings of progressives like marionettes.

So super "progressive" cities (Seattle, Portland, San Fran, etc...) it could conceivably happen within the next decade (especially as the more normal lefties get run out of town) in at least parts of town.

But I do think they would keep the kiddie gloves on initially to make it look like it's working (through a combination of just not reporting crime, muzzling enforcement, and silencing the people they abuse).

It won't be until progressive politicians (not more mainstream dems pandering to progressives, but actual progressives) get into positions of power and have successfully finished indoctrinating an entire generation that it goes mainstream, and at that point the gloves come off.

I don't know where else to post this or if this is the right spot (haven't lurked here in weeks). But now google has a feature at the bottom of the home page to find black owned businesses near me. Probably due to it being February and all. But still how is that not discrimination? That's rhetorical obviously.

I've also seen an uptick in people replying to others asking where they got something with "it's from x, a black owned business!". Like the unnecessary racist equivalent of "thanks, it has pockets!"

The two big dangers are the indoctrination of children and the importation of immigrants. Other than completely cutting yourself and your children off from globohomo in all it's forms, there's not much you can do. I don't expect much to happen if the Dems keep the "peaceful protests" in the major cities. The major cities are Dem country, so most Right Wingers should see them burning down as a self-own for the Dems. The rural/city divide will definitely increase, though, and I wouldn't be surprised if entire States (minus their Cities) reject the Democrat agenda.

He wasn't the 'fascist dictatorial monster' that MSM portrayed him as, or the Left believed him to be. He wasn't willing to activate the Insurrection Act or call forth the RWDS that would have leapt at the chance to restore a semblance of order to the anarchy. I don't think he ever was or would have been that person, ever, he labored under the false illusion that the system wasn't already completely subverted. The next populist, however, will likely understand that as well as what steps need to be taken, and such a man will arise not from some intrinsic need but from the very pressure put on the American people.

How long can C keep going on for? Sooner or later, people are going to be pissed as medical bills come due, houses are foreclosed on and people are booted onto the streets, and they can't pay subscription fees to their precious streaming services, so nothing to distract from the hellscape. My guess for the future is E: China comes in an sets up shop in America, forever putting the US under the thumb of the CCP.
