Hoo boy... that tweet in the image is CordWit telling his followers one of his close friends had killed themselves. Quite the loving and wonderful fanbase you got there, Dream! Just a bunch of people making friends over their shared interests, really wholesome stuff.

If all of this can happen because of someone responding to a false accusation of impersonation and improper conduct, then your fanbase is shit.

Dream is well aware these are his fans, as is the nature of the stan, but it benefits him greatly so why bother calling it out? The only time he ever told them to stop is when he sent an insta model (/tiktok bitch idk or care) some merch and his fans commented cringe shit on it and he said something like “haha that’s embarrassing yikes don’t do that”

Then around the same time he’s telling his fans he likes that they imagine him fucking his friends cause woke bullshit prurience and degeneracy. Mixed signals, but he just couldn’t bare the thought of a pretty girl thinking he was cringe and the mask slipped.

Dream's stans have resorted to raiding John Swan's discord, I know this because I decided to check in on John Swan's discord. The fucking gay ops will never end. At one point it was even reported that one of Dream's alts joined though this part is just rumor as far as I'm aware.

A 56 minute... Livestream... meanwhile his friends are just standing clear on this mess so they can continue their roleplay on their Survival MultiPlayer server. If i was a friend of dream i would of tried and stopped him but i guess having 18m+ subs gives you immunity.

The only person as far as i know who has subs and would condone this would be Omni (since the youtube algorithm has been recommending him to people) but even he does not have "big enough subs" to make a loud fuss.

It's pretty clear Dream knows he's too big to fail now. At his level you're bound to have a sizeable amount of delulus who'll follow him no matter what happens. With that kind of safety net it's no wonder he's the most reckless and spergiest of the bunch.

Also jesus christ Dream's livestream was hard to listen to. As it is, I still think John's reasoning is ...questionable but I'll give him more sympathy points for having to deal with dream stans.

She thinks that content creators should have some accountability for their fanbase, got death threats over her opinions, and Dream completely ignored it when addressing the drama. In general, whenever someone criticizes stan culture (and the content creators that enable it), they just double-down on whatever they're criticized for and then get upset when the critic says "see what I mean?"

I don't really give a fuck about a creators fan "accountability" because crazy will always be crazy no matter what and creators can't help that.

What I abhor is fuckers like Dream who manipulate and subsequently use their fans as a hammer to hit anyone they don't like or actively encourage them to continue doing fucked up shit (such as all the Dream & Friends/family porn). That is where the line is crossed and you are accountable for what your fans do. You would think people would learn from DSP's horrid example about how not to handle fans, but I guess that these people wouldn't be lolcows otherwise.

I think this thread is missing an important at point, and that is his friends group (the people he collabs with in the manhunts and the like) are only an extension of him. They look to him on how to act and follow suit. Dream says something cringe about blm? An hour later they are all doing the same. Dream defends stans? His friends jump on board, careful to defend them in the same way.

I mean I doubt the faggot gives a fuck (cause money and ego) but for example that George not found guy would never now say he actually dislikes the shipping because Dream has already given the message that they’re okay with it and they must support the party leaders statement.

You basically repeated what I said with “they are an extension of him.”

They are dickless ofc but super popular youtubers with stans usually have a group around them, helps with relevancy and to produce more content. But the main point is that even solely looking at dream, noting the dynamic between them shows his mentality. So, it is relevant and worth mentioning at least once for comprehensiveness.

First time I ever heard of John Swan was when he was asked to weigh in on the legality of JustDestiny falsely taking down a teenager’s video and sending a completely fake cease and desist letter. He then pretty much blew up when covering the hypocrisy of Suzy Lu and her boyfriend, along with some of Chris Hansen’s shady antics. Since then however, John’s mostly just covered how Deji’s a douchetuber who bought fake subs (shocker), and some guy named “Anonymous Gene” who doxed John on behalf of Chris Hansen. He also would go on to do a bunch of killstream-esque livestreams where he and bunch of other guys (like Augie and Nicholas DeOrio) spend hours masturbating their own egos while reading through and commenting on Twitter posts. At that point, I lost interest in his content and never returned. So I’m admittedly surprised to see him having a public beef with Dream of all people.

There’s way too much spergy drama for me to try and cover, though there’s at least a few things minor things I wanted to point out:

1. Didn’t get to archive, so I figure that he deleted the Tweet. John said that he and Dream should put their differences aside and instead just kiss. Unsurprisingly, some fans are already shipping the two (whether it’s been done ironically is up to you to decide)

Idk the lore behind their beef, though what’s notable is how he’s trying to paint John Swan as being alt-right while also hiding comments. He also has been trying to signal boost the teenage girl who accused Leafy of grooming her without any solid proof, so I’m pretty inclined to believe that this guy’s likely spreading around a ton of misinformation.

Swan, DeOrio, Augie, etc. are annoying drama queen teenagers, but their "opponents," like tonka, suzy lu, britbong, hansen, and especially def noodles are so much easier to hate that they manage to maintain a fanbase.

What i dislike about them is how they really like implicitly copying internet bloodsports figures, like during Nick's last stream when the intro songs were "got that" and the "we gotta find" blue's clues remix, both songs known for being used by metokur. Or when they got suzy lu to show her flag history on after hours and nick way overplayed an identical reaction to ralph on the matt stream, right down to a 110% fake "SUZY NO!" At least they keep finding funny shit like deji faking a good driving score and then crashing his car, or getting outed as a subbotter by the subbotter.
