>She's an Austrian German-English-Japanese trilingual in Japan, which narrows it down to only a handful of possible people.
That really doesn't. German is incredibly popular in Japanese nerd culture.
German is popularly used in anime and shit, but the creators actually can't speak German at all. There's a german translator guy who recwntly posted on twittwe that he found a german dictionary intended for that kind of media, with him not even knowing some of the words there because of just how niche and obscure the words are. The equivalent in english would be EOPs using Latin with machine translation

Also, the guy who re-uploaded Keeki's doxx somehow reminded me with her superhater jsrach back at Keeki's idol days

I only hope that the actually good indies can rise above the sheer garbage that is swirling around in the ENvtuber scene.
I'm making the prediction that not many if any are going to get in. Most of the current EN girls weren't vtubers, Kiara is a former idol/cosplayer, Calli is a net rapper, Inna is an artist. Ame and Gura are the ones with experience. I'll bet that actual talent will trump what little vtubing experience exists among the applicants. I bet stuff like streaming, podcasting and youtubing skills should transfer over anyways. Plus the increased popularity of Hololive means more talented people will be applying. I remember clips of older gen JP Hololivers wondering if they could have gotten in nowadays with the increased competition.

I browse the Twitch creative sections every once in a while and throw my monthly free Twitch prime subscription to one of the true non-thot artists. Sometimes I wonder what which of them could work as vtubers... imagine a collab between a DJ vtubers and any of the Hololive singers/rapper. I would totally watch a stream of someone composing or remixing a song in real time, maybe with input from chat. There shouldn't be any copyright issues since it's original music. Inna already has the traditional artist thing down, but I would totally watch someone 3d modeling or a different type of art. Choco and Hachama (lol) do irl cooking streams, that can be expended on so much to other irl hobbies. Knitting, sculpting, imagine the collective nerdgasms if any of them decided to try their hand at gundam model building and painting. The possibilities are endless. You don't' necessarily need another vtuber who can sing jpop and anime songs and plays mostly Nintendo games. You can really experiment with the next EN gen, a rapper (edit: and a fucking professional-level artist!!) were twists that I never saw coming and it has paid off insanely well.

Are you 8 years old, genuine question

To be honest I dont get the insistence, the multiple correlations and coincidences in my opinion add up more than most heavily accepted and eventually straight up confirmed identities, I mean people were convinced Gura was Senzawa with even less shit than that
Do you hate Keekihime so much that you don't want to even consider she's Kiara or viceversa? I mean saying shit like "No her being an austrian german trilingual chick doesnt matter because german is popular there" like it makes sense is a severe step
I don't really like either Kiara or Keekihime honestly. Keekihime is just the standard twatter type thot, and Kiara just has very little personality imo. It's just that a lot of stuff in this general vein kind of comes off as really autistic.

This and let us just reverse things and see which sounds more reasonable.
>Do you hate Keekihime so much that you don't want to even consider she's Kiara or viceversa?
Couldn't you also say that because Kiara and Keekihime are both disliked that, that has biased people into wanting to believe that they're the same people?

Almost all Germans speak at least a little English, and German, Japanese, and English are some of the most popularly spoken second languages in the world for professionals. I mean shit, this isn't even considering the fact that chances are good that COVER favored the fuck out of these languages because English is the most common language in the world when you include 2nd language speakers, that Germany is the biggest economy in the EU, and then Japanese for obvious reasons.

If you were COVER and looking to make profits from western markets, English and German would be the two languages you'd target. Someone speaking the same language as your company would just be icing on the cake for obvious reasons. So just purely statistically speaking, a German, English, Japanese trilingual would likely land pretty high on their application stack.

I feel like this is the first time I've ever seen anyone try and deny Kiara = Keeki. What a ride.
The fact that no one has questioned it when most of the evidence is circumstantial doesn't really lend much credit to the idea that they're the same people.

What are the chances of a Japanese company to play around with an established working formula? Would be cool, but I think those possible talents you mention are too narrow and I'd imagine a major company would want to apply the fattest brush strokes to catch as many people interested as they can.

I can see that happening in Nijisanji tho, since their formula is different.

Kiara=Keeki is certainly much, much stronger than many other vtuber dox which are taken to be fact. Calli's is based on rapping+voice+2 languages, which is certainly a lot weaker than 3 languages+voice+country. Ina's is based on artstyle+languages, I'm not even sure if her roommate ever released her voice. Gura, Amelia and basically all of JP are connected by voice and mannerisms alone to defunct accounts that have never acknowledged Cover or Hololive in any way.

In particular Gura's "extended dox" is based on a phone case and a voice-acting job she never actually did. It conflicts with her claimed geographical location and even her voice to an extent, she has never acknowledged it in any way other than DFE on her old accounts. The only reason we believe it is because she went paranoid after someone dug it up and called her dad or something. If you want to question a dox you should probably start from there.

I mean while this is all interesting to talk about I don't see how any of that expands the pool of female austrian trilingual internet personalities that currently live in Japan which have voices comparable to Kiara and are having trouble with their fans "thinking they're clever"

Even assuming she's currently living in Japan, some things don't add up.
Not really wanting to jump in on all of the. . . whatever. . . but this might be a bit better match to Keeki's voice for you, since that was a point of contention:
Not sure how that was forgotten about. . . it was all anyone talked about in the hugbox for a while.
Local archive of video:

It's presented as though she's trying to conceal the fact that German is her first language, yet in reality, she's open about the fact that German is her first language.

Local archive:

Unless she's just out and out lying in this video, her first language is not "High German" which would almost undoubtedly be Keekihime's first language since she is from Austria.

What I find confusing is how many people dislike Kiara for many reasons Ollie is popular (not saying it's mutually exclusive). I personally think Kiara is fine and was kind of turned off by Ollie after watching her debut. I do admit that the first few months the doomposting about Kiara being a numberfag are accurate. But she's gotten a lot better at that recently I think, or at least she wouldn't be playing long-ass JRPG's till completion in her channel if she was really that bothered by it still. Also the getting close to a lot of other Hololive members is something that Kiara and Ollie did, yet the main person to get flack for it... was Kiara.

Suspect is such a good song. This whole concert has been a big improvement on holofes 2.

I personally chalk her first months being numberfag was her still in mindset of idol group where the least popular one got increasingly jobless over time, something she desperately avoiding in what apparently her last attempt to not be an office wagecuck. Once she got the memo that Cover wouldnt dump her worse than she already is anyway she relaxed and start getting into the flow of things she is today.

The whole Kiara isn't Keekihime thing is a bit odd, anyhow another piece of evidence is that EN debuted on 9/9/2020 and a few days later Keekihime posts this:
@keekihimedesu
Sep 12, 2020

Uhhh I am not planning to quit my activities as cosplayer/streamer/youtuber anytime soon, keekihime is my life and my passion. And there is no problem with it. That's all i can say thanks for coming to my ted talk

The Kiara being a lefty is old news and shouldn't surprise anyone. She and all of EN are young white women along with the token asian, stats say they're all likely lefties. I don't give a fuck as long as their politics doesn't bleed into their work, separate the artists from their work and all that. I'll be consistent and say it for Gina Carano and Kiara. It doesn't matter and I don't care unless you make me care by shoving your politics in my face. Shut up and dribble stream.

Just to be completely clear. . . this was in response when she straight out said accidentally, that she wanted to go home from Austria.

Also, Austrians wouldn't necessarily consider what they speak High German, which is the regional dialect that includes almost of all of southern Germany as well. In her case, saying that she doesn't speak High German would be like me saying I don't speak New English.

There are many words and phrases that make Austrian German different than the ‘High German’ spoken in Berlin or Hannover. When Austria joined the EU in 1995, it insisted its version of the language be given protected status.
Now, a new government booklet is urging teachers to favour the Austrian word Schlagobers for cream, over the German Sahne; Marille for apricot, instead of Aprikose; and the traditional Austrian greeting Servus for goodbye, instead of the German Tschüss.

Hang on, what's a numberfag here? Is that like a tripfag/namefag somehow?

In a sense the total apolitical nature of hololive has served it pretty well (which makes sense given how the taiwan mess decimated a whole branch, but that's an even lower level of butthurt than American politics), and as it stands, Keeki's stances hasn't ever seemed to bleed into Kiara's work at all.

Reminds me of how more than a few of them have ignored calls for trans rights (again, political whether or not I agree with that definition) especially given how more uniformly intolerant Japan is by comparison.

Totally unrelated, but given how Suisei and Takamori+Ina have done commissioned Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 streams, what's the chances that come Summer, they'll all get commissioned to do Tetris Effect Connected? (at least that game has a 3 player co-op mode that would be a nice source of shits and giggles, plus betrayal (dropping a Giant piece in the top of your allies' board just before Connected Zone ends is going to be a clippable moment for sure)
