To be fair, his story is he quit in a tard rage over pronouns and his fake name on some dumb employee badge. More likely he quit out of sheer laziness. Of course he could be lying and usually is.

Well he literally worked only Sundays and covered other people's shifts from time to time. There's an old DevArt blog post where he complained about being called in on Tuesday to cover someone while he had "other plans" shortly before he quit. What my theory is - the management was trying to get him to work more hours or days. Perhaps someone left the company for whatever reason and they needed extra coverage and he invented a reason to tard rage and quit the store. The fact was there was no reasonable reason to call out and he invented a reason why he was going to and it was something the employer could not address in proper time. He also gloated that he collected unemployment from it.

I don't know about getting slapped down, but I'm sure we're not the only ones laughing at Phil for his unwarranted sense of self-importance. He's even acting too big for his britches by calling himself a "prominent Antifa militant" since he's only known for being a laughingstock, he's never been an actual member of Antifa, and the only time he can be considered militant is when there's food in front of him.
