Trump supporters were telling the "vote blue no matter who" crowd that they were being tricked for a year and they didn't listen.

If any of these people had even the bare minimum amount of principle to reference instead of blundering about chasing the next virtue hit to please the mob, this likely could have been avoided. Not saying Trump would have won or lost; but the Democrats and progressives may have had a candidate that was representative of their supposed beliefs and opinions.
