Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

Which can be corrected. Not sure why Jazz won’t fix it.
What's the point if he can't stop gaining weight? In order to get a breast reduction, a woman has to have her weight under control. Jazz doesn't, and not only would he continue to blimp out after the surgery, but healing from the incisions would be much more difficult as well with all that extra fat.

The point is that losing weight is quite a difficult task for a normal adult, but Jazz hasn't been allowed to be normal for a very long time, if ever. The estrogen, the giant gaping wound, mommy dearest's behavior make it a monumental task. Are we seriously willing to believe that Jeannette wouldn't immediately try and sabotage even the slightest attempt of self-control, aka rebellion? She'd bring Jazz a tub of ice cream at the first sign of trouble, and Jazz would scoop it down like it was literal maternal love. A friend would help dramatically but Jazz doesn't have any and probably drove the few real ones he could have had because of his antics. Family members, seriously? The only one who seems to be sane has pretty much disappeared from the scene for her own good.

On top of that, Jazz is a child in a strange body, mentally and behaviourally there's absolutely nothing adult about him. No, casually talking about vaginas and dilators like it's toy cars isn't the sign of being a grown-up. How many children have the maturity to take control of their lives in a way that allows them to stop being the fat kid? Now add everything pointed out above and it's pretty much a lost cause from the beginning.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread that he has tuberous breast deformity and that it runs in his family.
It runs in men. That is to say, a man's breasts will never hit the final stage of growth that a woman's does. This is why all tranny breasts are like a pair of socks filled with pudding unless they get implants.

I don't think this is true. Jazz's weight is the one thing stopping him from being even more of a guinea pig for Jeanette's pet surgeons, so blimping up is probably a subconscious defense mechanism at this point, in addition to being his one outlet for rebellion. Ironically, Jeanette bringing him a tub of ice cream might actually help him stop, since her endorsement means he doesn't get the thrill of defying authority from it anymore.

That said, Jazz is an eternal prepubescent and will remain so until the day he joins the 41% in mermaid heaven. The odds of him getting his weight under control without pills and/or surgery are basically nil.

Are we sure that Jazz isn't borderline autistic? Because the only thing that's missing at this point is the stimming and quite a few meltdowns.
Much like his gender dysphoria, if he didn't have autism to begin with, he sure as fuck has it now. The complete lack of appropriate boundaries or socialization would bring about that kind of behavior even in someone who was otherwise completely normal, and he's had his brain fried with hormones and weapons-grade endocrine fucker-uppers.

Jazz isn't autistic. He's deeply shallow, mentally-stunted, and flamboyantly gay, but not autistic. The mermaid fixation is basically a normal little kid fixation without the maturing of interests that comes with growing up. Jazz is pretty friendly and outgoing for the most part, makes eyes contact, no stimming, etc. If he is autistic, it's at the very tip of the spectrum.

It wouldn't surprise me if the mermaids fixation is something Jeanette came up with and pinned on Jaron. She probably read about the UK Mermaids foundation and thought that sounded like a good narrative for Jazz, just like she probably made up the story about him wanting a visit from the vagina fairy. Her typical rewriting of his life's history to suit her Munchausen purposes.

Big agree. What he eats is (finally) a choice Jazz and Jazz alone can make about his body every day, multiple times a day. It's a way for him to have control over what happens to his body (even if it becomes binge eating and he isn't really "in control" it can still press all those buttons) and it's the easiest, most comforting way to experience some kind of pleasure via his body. Frankly, I would be shocked if Jazz hadn't developed this kind of behavior. If Jeanette starts pushing food on him she's going to back him into a corner and end up with a spiteful 600 lb Jazz or an anorexic Jazz.

I can't imagine an anorexic Jazz. He's gone through enough pain without adding hunger to the mix.

If Jeanette gets involved in feeding him, he's done. It won't feel good as a defiance thing, but he won't be able to stop because that's how binge eating/food addiction works. She'll force that helplessness on him and be able to say it's his fault for not having any self control. I don't think Jazz is capable of changing or helping himself if it gets to that point.

Let's hope the shame of having a 600lb daughterson is too much for Jeanette to want to go that route.

That woman doesn't even know the meaning of the word shame. A 600lbs Jazz would end up getting a gastric bypass, another reality show and another failed surgery from binge eating.

Jeannette getting humiliated in public by Dr. Nowzaradan would be epic though.

"My Trans Fat Life" would fit right in with the other freakshows on TLC. Jeanette still has some time to wring that sweet, sweet attention-by-proxy out of Jazz.

I would only think he'd go anorexic out of sheer spite and control, but I agree with you. He is going after comfort as much as control and anorexia is anything but comfortable.
I could see a bulimia saga, maybe. I really hope not. That stuff will kill you :(

I wonder if some of the problem is that Jazz doesn't have peers to help tell him stuff like, "You look better in a bra" or "Your mom is psycho and you should move out and go to college". Friend and peers are a big part of learning what's normal vs weird, but because Jazz's whole identity is trans, all his friends are probably LGBT hugboxers and the normal kids likely avoid him.

Jazz has friends: his mom and his siblings. Which is as sad as you can imagine.

The positive thing about friends is to get away from your family's grip and being able to try and experience other perspectives. Parents can't never be "friends" in the sense that they will never be objective as their main purpose is to protect their child. I'm not saying a kid needs friends to do stupid shit, but actually I am yes saying that because part of growing up is to do stupid shit.

Not only Jazz isn't allowed to do stupid shit, whenever he tries, it's immediately featured on tv for the world to see. Like his tantrum about not wanting to go to therapy.

Well, he had that gay kid, but that didn't really pan out. Noelle is a bit green with envy. Jazz prefers to preach to children, for some reason.

this is something we've mentioned in another thread, but people like Jazz prefer to surround themselves with children because that's the extent of their emotional and intellectual range. Jazz has nothing in common with people around his age.

The thought Jazz is binge eating in part as a way to exert control over one's life makes sense... Jazz's weight might be the only way to rebel against a mother who doesn't want a "fat daughter".

The only reason the public can't identify the underlying conflict is that it seems totally "acceptable" among the trans community to be enormously fat. It's as if fatness is the major "body acceptance" campaign they keep pushing. This body acceptance is starting to leak into the medical community, where healthcare employees are being taught that one has to tip-toe around the topic of obesity with patients. This is while COVID mortalities are through the roof for fat people... but whatever.. I attribute this directly to the enormous power the trans lobby has on medicine at the moment (even if it's not obvious, it's there... hospitals everywhere are being trained in LGBTQ+ acceptance)... they WANT obesity to be regarded as "normal" because obesity seems to be a major side effect of trooning out. They don't want morbid obesity to be seen as "something society rejects/something that is dangerous" as it will prevent transitioning from becoming a popular lifestyle choice.

I expect "fat acceptance" to become the law of the land within a short period of time. Calling someone "fat" will eventually become a hate crime-- at least in countries like the US. This will all be "thanks" to the LGBTQ+ lobby.

If Jazz were part a reality TV show about a (biological girl) teenaged beauty pageant queen or as a modeling audition competitor, people would be disturbed by the binge eating, and would automatically assume there was some kind of eating disorder going on.

God only knows the puberty blockers and estrogen/progesterone doesn't help the situation. I've experienced horrible side effects from the birth control pill and synthetic estrogen myself when I was in my 20s. Undoubtably many other women can attest to how easily one can gain enormous amounts of weight on birth control pills and HRT. Men knowingly doing this to themselves is slow-motion suicide, as it seems morbid obesity hits them a lot harder and more quickly than it does for women in terms of mortality and debilitating disease.

You can call black people, who actually fall into a protected class, ‘nigger’ all you want. Fat people will never be a protected class, and troons would happily turn on the wider scope of fatties if they didn’t/couldn’t keep up with tranny lunacy for whatever reason. Troons only care when it suits them, that’s not an effective strategy for changing bureaucracy

That hairline is not long for this world.

He was here. Probably for the Carvel.

He looks completely and totally dead inside. And increasingly more male. Oof.
He looks like Crazy Jane

Crazy Jane was painted by Richard Dadd while in a mental institution for killing his dad and someone else after going mad in Egypt and being possessed by Osiris. It's believed to be a self portrait.
