What prompted this one? Did someone dare question a thumbnail again? Positivity Grumps at least came from people being mad at the horribly unfunny Franklin/Jimmy episodes. Or is this the normal someone dared talk negatively about the Grumps and that triggered this person's anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, tripolar disorder, globophobia, schizophrenia, runny nose, and the inability to not use twitter as their therapist.

Probably Danganronpa, if I had to guess. That entire playthrough, Arin’s rampant contrarianism and bullshittery turned up to 11 for this series, and especially the recent “spoiler “””argument”””” they had probably might’ve been too much for some to handle.

People did promote it for awhile. It was even part of the Lovelies repertoire of shitting on others who were critical of the show. Like, if someone got “badly hurt” by a RantGrumps person they’d just go “Aaaaawwww it’s okay boo, here try going over to this place. Main can be a gigantic trash fire.”

Sort of a reverse of telling people to fuck off to RantGrumps. ...I think it was even on the sidebar for awhile but I could be wrong on that. Long story short, nobody used it because of course nobody gave that much of a shit about the Grumps. And those who did became so rabidly obsessive that people just stopped engaging with them entirely. ...Think you can even find them in the episode posts (usually the episodes the fandom hates the most) all the way at the bottom of the thread.

I've always assumed people just barely tolerated him. I know I did when I was subscribed. It was nice when they had all those extra shows like Steam Train and Grumpcade because you could just watch Dan/Ross/Barry be normal human beings without having to deal with Arin's autism. Dunno how current fans can handle the show now though, I've heard that Dan barely even exists in episodes now, so he probably provides no relief.

Arin is the brown bits of the fruit that you cut out with a knife first in order to enjoy the rest of the fruit, but at this point most of the fruit is all brown and rotting so it's better to just throw it in the bin than to try to painstakingly cut out whatever tiny bits of good fruit you can find.

That's such a common thread with Game Grumps at this point I wonder why people even like Arin.

There was a point during GGs first couple of years that I really enjoyed his chatter, these days all he seems to do is stick to screaming out ad-libbed 'breakdowns' because that's what gets those watches, likes, and SMASHED BELLS BAYBEEEEEE.

I'm not terribly convinced there's much of him as a person that isn't fake now, he is subsumed by his job and persona. Though just thinking aloud I'd almost assume the channel closing up would be a relief and a quality of life improvement for his stupid ass but that would require him to rub two neurons together to realize it. That or to finally run out of co-hosts willing to swallow his inane dribbling.
