US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Biden getting 80 million votes would make him more popular than Obama in 2008.

Obama had way more popularity than Biden ever did during his campaign. I’ll believe Biden is as popular as the vote totals show once he gets people paying attention to him the way they did Obama.

I'm all for it... if the ones forgiving are the banks and universities instead of the gov't via the taxpayer.
But I'm not paying jackshit so Jamie-Lynn can get a job at HR where she can instill more CRT.
Colleges should at least finance their own brainwashing.
With the endless interest rates, taxpayers already got their money back. But yeah, I agree the unis and banks should bear some of the burden. Both were extremely predatory in tricking young people into signing up for very expensive loans.

Puhleezeeeee.... they only paid attention to the brown boy because he was friends with Bidet. Ain't you heard that the US is a white supremacist country? Even Bidet commented on how he was unusually well spoken and decent looking for a person of his 'features'.

Interesting theory there, but okay, I’ll roll with it because it’s funny.

I'm for dropping high explosive munitions from military aircraft onto Ivy League universities during orientation to serve as an example to other universities.

After that I think the problem will solve itself.
NAH... just mandate that they have to serve two semesters existing in and working in actual third world countries. I think their first semester in Syria would vastly improve their education. Then in their third year, a semester in some shit hole in Africa would also work.

The 15 dollar minimum wage also has a very insidious trap laid within it. If you raise the minimum wage to 15 dollars under the framework of "providing a living wage", what you're really doing is putting a cap on wages for low-end workers. The result is counter-intuitive to the general belief. If everyone at the bottom has to be paid such a margin-crushing amount, not only are staff and hours going to be cut like you and others suggest; you will ensure that those people remaining that do have jobs will never see another raise again. There will be no path to a higher wage or a promotion with better pay because by virtue of the justifications being used the employee is now "taken care of" and has enough income to cover their costs.

Class mobility in the upward direction will be diminished. Workers' rights will be diminished.

A minimum wage increase at the national level the likes of which is being suggested will kill the notion of working hard to get a better deal. You'll simply be working hard and you had better be happy you still have a job because you can and will be replaced the moment you step out of line or have the audacity to ask for more money. It puts a cap on how much the lower classes can earn and are allowed to earn.

Or forcing low end workers to have to get more qualifications to work at all. If they make the wages of burger pushers and medical techs the same (typically burger pushing pays $9 and med tech pays $12/hr)... why would you get a certification and spend your days changing adult diapers if pushing burgers pays the same. If I have to hire a burger pusher, someone who has worked as a medical tech has been far more reliable than your neighbor's idiot son who just wants a summer job. If I have a job that I HAVE to hire someone to do, why not take the person w/college instead of that idiot son?
Is this why people talk a lot about migrants coming in? Because you could get away with paying them anything, even nothing?

I would generally say yes.

But the benefits of opening the gates and allowing immigrants to flood in would be negated once they are granted citizenship. So ultimately what it seems like the Biden administration is planning is doomed to failure in an economic sense and possibly a political sense as well. If they're legal, they can't be exploited nearly as easily. Which takes away the predatory motivation to import them to begin with. And if the plan is to bring in a new Democrat-leaning voting bloc, I would question the efficacy of that as well when you consider these new citizens with no English language skills, incomplete work histories and questionable tax arrangements are going to be competing on a level playing field with natural citizens. I don't think a lot of these new citizens are going to be very thrilled when they have no job prospects and mounting expenses once their legal status is processed. Whether or not they blame the right people is a whole other question.

And then you throw the concept of raising the minimum wage into the mix along with a economic downturn caused by foolish, agenda-driven lockdowns and I don't see how any of this stuff reconciles beyond the "it feels good so I agree with it" phase of the argument.

The correct approach was what the Trump administration was doing. Start limiting admissions to new citizens and enforce stricter quotas on skills and merit. It gives breathing space to American citizens who need work and who will do jobs; jobs that arrogant elitists assume "americans won't do" for "reasons" and so they don't even bother trying to help these individuals. The missing link in all of this is an overhaul of the actual immigration and citizenship processes. On that front there needs to be an audit of the agencies responsible for overseeing entry into the United States. There is bloat and bureaucracy involved that needs to be cut out and eliminated. Costs will come down and the process will speed up. The literal citizenship test is fine; but the aforementioned administrative bloat prevents the completion of the process and creates a backlog years long.

It's a good problem to have in a way. People want to come to America. But America needs to be more discerning about who they let in. And it needs to be kept present in one's mind that naysayers from other nations (that have far stricter screening regimens) can shut their faggot mouths about this issue because the United States is incredibly generous with its admissions. Too generous.

Edit! I forgot to mention: as per the illegals already in the United States, they need to be able to come forward without fear of unreasonable persecution by the authorities. A fine is acceptable (perhaps a percentage of their yearly earnings based upon how long they have been in violation) and back taxes must be paid. Those with felonies have to go. Lower level crimes will not result in removal pending review. Then these people need to be issued a green card and begin the process of becoming a citizen. And these people I feel should be pushed through a separate, parallel system of naturalization if only to keep the "normal" system functional throughout the lengthy process. After I would say two or three years of instituting this program we would begin strict enforcement domestically of any illegal aliens found within the United States. Call it a grace period just to give people notice and to get them out of hiding.

But after that grace period to come forward has expired, you're deported if you are caught.

It is dual fold, you not only can pay them jack shit..they are a whole new market of people who you can get addicted to the massive debt that the banks have hooked into the current population.

Let's see if this goes anywhere (a big nope on that) but Biden's EPA refused Texas from turning on old power plants for the storm because icky pollution.

Uncuck yourself, Cruz, and use this every time the media hounds you for going to Mexico.
-Fact Check
This is mostly true, but Ted Cruz is solely responsible.
Also, Orange Man is very bad and Biden is so brave.

I'm for it but only if the debt isn't really forgiven but transferred exclusively from people with humanities or liberal arts degrees to plumbers, electricians, security, police officers, and farmers. That way the worthless fucks know what it's like to have the people that really matter hate them.

So when Biden inevitably loses the House and Senate in 2022 do you think the Republicans will actually try and impeach him, or are they too dickless?
Why would any of these people refuse to vote for Biden in 2022? They've already demonstrated a willingness, no, an enthusiasm for acting against their better judgement by voting for him. A lot of these twitter accounts are by political junkies. They had all of 2019 and 2020 to see that Biden only ever supported their pet causes because he had to, he was never leading the charge and in fact did his very best to argue against such things when there was space to do so.

Even when this is recognized and conceded, they'd go and rationalise their vote to Stop Trump. If your rationale for voting is that getting nothing is better than Red Team potentially getting in and fucking you, then you've snookered yourself into devotion. No shit Biden's not going to help you, because you're gonna Vote Blue No Matter Who

they wont vote for biden in 22 because he wont be up for election and Democrats always have extremely poor turnouts in midterms.

I've been looking at the Oval Pawffice people (God help me). I think the person doing it may be PetsBySteff. aka Estefania Gomez of Kissimmee, FL

https://twitter.com/PetsbySteff
petsbysteffg@gmail.com

Her domain was registered late last year, a few months before the Oval Pawffice. She did all the art for the merch that the Oval Pawffice is selling. The proceeds from the sale of the merch goes to charity, but surely there is a cut for the artist. Which would make sense that a person is on social like it's their fucking job if they are getting a cut of the sales.

She is located in Florida. The charities that the Oval Office has shilled for are in CA, DC, TX, and FL. The FL one specifically was on Facebook just saying "hey these couple of pets need to be adopted". Pointing to https://www.facebook.com/orangecountyanimalservices/. She says she got a message about the dogs needing to be adopted, but she may just be locally involved with the shelter. It seems like a hyper local use for an account like this. And I'm sure there are more dogs that need to be adopted. Why those ones at that shelter? That could all just be coincidence.

If you look at her Tweets, it's the same Biden suck fest as the Oval Pawffice. I would expect the artist to plug her art, but not necessarily to retweet shit from Joe and Jill Biden.

TLDR: I think the strongest cases are a possible monetary incentive with the art, the pro-Biden garbage in her Twitter, and she frankly seems like exactly the kind of annoying dog mom that would have the time and graphic talent to do something like this.

I'm stopping here, but if one of you beautiful autists wants to try to dig deeper to try to confirm, feel free.

I feel like a lot of Biden voters just bought his lies that he would defeat Covid, and since he won't defeat Covid and will almost certainly cause a Global Recession in his attempts I think he will face serious backlash.
