Either Len is a total moron who believes that hijacking an old lawyer's account is a sound tactic or Hy is someone I cringe to find as a lawyer (what with the Facebook threats and senility and all).

To hell with the popcorn, I need a goddamn gallon of ice cream for this.

Len's lawyer is now going on FB threatening to sue us for libel. However, we're not 100 percent sure it's him or Len hijacking his account. Either way, it's lose-lose for Len, as his lawyer has been proven to be a bit of an eccentric old coot.

I called his son's law office. It seems that Mayerson is aware of the issue. And apparently has had "difficulties" with Facebook in the recent past. Although no hacking problems.

The son was also upset that I was "wasting his time" (I'm not sure how my concern that there is strong evidence that his dad is being hacked is wasting his time, but I digress). So that's that. Mayerson is now definitely well aware of the issue. Hopefully he was just hacked and life will get back "normal" for him. Either way, I wash my hands of the matter.

NB. The younger Mayerson was also careful to note that his father was not associated with his firm. Take that to mean what you will.

The only thing @Saul Goodman has to worry about is if this lawyer spreads the word of his real name and its association to the Kiwi Farms, which depending on how and where he spreads it will have minimal to a slightly major threat, but he's done nothing illegal.

However, his extremely unprofessional conduct and embarrassing threats of legal action will probably put his license into question.

Of course, this is even assuming this is all true, and I want to believe that someone that has gone through law school isn't this stupid.

So... does this confirm that Len is impersonating a lawyer to try and threaten the Farms?

Because that is easily the most autistic and downright retarded thing that's happened to this board in history. Pretty sure this is the first time someone has done something illegal to try and prove a point to us.

I wonder if the elder Mayerson is exhibiting the symptoms of dementia, but his son hasn't been able to get him declared incompetent yet. I do think it's suspicious that "Hy" makes the same mistakes in spelling and grammar that Pantshitter does. I'm still leaning toward Len just figuring out the answers to Hy's password reset questions or shoulder surfing the password.

Yep, only one too, I think.

From what I'm gathering here, if Len hacked into his lawyer's account. Then it's probably for the best he just try (and fail) to defend himself in court. Since if that is indeed the case, no lawyer (not even court-appointed) would likely want to be around him.

If not, then I'm going to have to question the credibility and credentials of this lawyer. The fact that he's been in business for 40 or so years, coupled with his piss-poor diction (a fault of the internet, sadly). Makes me doubt he's won any big cases, assuming he's even won any to begin with.
