Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I think I have said this before, but it seems to me that Barnes has been completely vindicated in regards to the Lagoa over Barrett thing.

Barrett oozed RINO.
I wasn't so onboard with Lagoa because she seemed more like a token nomination, but she couldn't have been more useless than Barrett is. I still stand by the tradcuck. At the very least she would've been for Trump and his policies what Roberts is for Dubya and his policies. And considering how little friends Donald has anymore, he could've used one in the SC.

As always, Trump's problem is that he isn't able to tell friend from someone who is just using him.

Barrett smelled like someone who was doing everything the correct way, which meant they were only in it to gain power. I am not sure I am describing my impression right: someone who is clearly doing something just for the asspats and accolades, was what Barrett seemed like.

I'd say it's more like they expected things to magically get better once a new person was sworn in after Trump was out. They don't care who it is.

I'll admit I was bamboozled by Barrett because when she has Scalia upbringing as a court clerk and Thomas is vouching for her, I think maybe she actually is strong catholic mommy. And I think Thomas is insanely disappointed in her too. Let him hold on long enough for Trump 2.0 or DeSantis and just ask him specifically who the next justices should be, no one else.

Meanwhile Merrick Garland is being questioned by the senate today for AG confirmation hearings and he's saying he won't confirm to either releasing Durham's sham report or even letting him finish it, two things Trump was hounded for with the Russiagate hoax and dipshit Mueller.

Wow, almost like the government is more or less independent of its management and functions regardless of who is president until explicitly FORCED to operate otherwise.
I don’t even like Joe Biden, but these fuckers need to learn government is not your friend nor is it easy to control.
