South Park + Its Political Sperging (?) Thread - Season 26 ongoing!

Hang on there was a voice actress in the early seasons (i specifically remembered her as the blonde girl from the chorus in the jen Aniston rainforest episode) who also did Wendy's song before she either quit or was replaced. Apparently she had a connection to both Matt and Trey?...
If you're talking about Toddy Walters (and I think you are), she was also in Matt and Trey's first Musical, well before South Park.

It looks like she dated Trey, but they never married.

Yeah. Found an interview from a few years back. She's proud of her work on SP so I guess I was wrong that there was bad blood.

NWMA would have worked and been received better had it been released as an explicit special/midseason one-off and not part of Parker and Stone trying to skirt having to actually pay-off the reveal of Cartman's dad.

(for those not remembering: the show ended season one with a big cliffhanger for Cartman finding out his dad's identity; Parker and Stone never intended to reveal it and moreso, agreed to air the season two premiere a month ahead of the official season two start date as part of the troll so it would air on April Fool's Day. Fans needless to say were super fucking pissed and more to the point, Comedy Central was still advertising their contact information on the air for fans to write/call in to give their opinions and shit and Comedy Central got FLOODED with pissed off fans. So a couple of days later, Parker and Stone were ordered to rush out a proper conclusion to the two-parter.... though Parker and Stone still thumbed their noses at CC and the fans by saying Cartman's mom was his dad and that she had male and female genitals and that she fucked one of the women of South Park and they gave her the baby that was produced to raise and refused to mention it ever again until 200-201, where it was established that Cartman's mom had the Denver Broncos, one of the suspects in the season one finale, run a train on her and one, who was the dad of Scott Tennorman, was Cartman's biological father and everyone was conspiring to cover it up prevent the scandal from hurting the team)

If the plot is people who are 95 and are going to die within a year anyway are getting the shot ahead of everyone else, it might be OK. There's some meat there.
The whole pandemic is the government shutting down everything to protect boomers and fat people. People like Butter's parent who are in the mid 30's shouldn't be anywhere near a vaccine. In the past series like South Park would have mocked how much the whole thing is a slighly worse flu, but then again the creators backtracked on global warming.

It's not that show anymore.

No, it was a "plan omega" to nuke the economy to force people to vote out Trump by the tacit notion that Covid would go away once Biden was elected. With the added benefit that they could extend it indefinitely to push through all sorts of bullshit via the "great reset" and silence dissent/break the masses to make them more compliant serfs.

It failed because Trump left the lockdown up to the states, meaning only blue states got destroyed economically and worse, the left made the huge mistake of publicizing their "plan omega" before Covid on shows like Real Time With Bill Maher, meaning the masses saw what was coming and called bullshit on it, which is why the elites had to switch to race riots during the summer.

Which was also left up to the states so only the Left states suffered the effects while radicalizing Florida.

To try and give a quick and dirty of the fucked up love life of Trey Parker:
Trey Parker was a simp madly in love with his high school sweetheart (who was mormon so in case you wonder where Trey's mormon fetish shit came from). His sweetheart? Not so fucking loyal or even god-damn bright. She was cheating on him with a member of a local college chorus group and WEEKS before South Park debuted on TV, Trey caught her mid-fuck with the chorus guy and dumped her on the spot.
You got the basic story right but the dates wrong. Trey Parker's high school sweetheart was Liane Adamo and according to IMDB they broke up before the wedding after finding out she was having an affair. But this happened way before South Park as it's referenced in Cannibal The Musical, Parker's horse is named Liane and there's a whole subplot about him losing his horse to a "dirty trapper."

So yeah Trey's first love cheating on him made him seethe for years. To be fair she was quite hot, she's the one in the black hat.

Yeah, Trey got passive aggressive about her on the Cannibal The Musical commentary. They met during the shoot of that movie in 93 and stayed together until 1999.

You're closer. What happened was that Liane cheated on Trey a few weeks before they were to get married. It depressed the shit out of Trey (on the commentary for Cannibal, he admits that this experience is what made him into a womanizer) and it gave him the motivation to make Cannibal. That and ridicule her by naming Parker's horse Liane. Years and years later when South Park took off around season 6 or 7 they finally named Cartman's mom... And her name was Liane. I wonder if they made contact around that time and something happened.

"Hi, I'm worth 7 million dollars and she's with the manager of Foley's! WHOOPS!"

AFAIK the federal government can't lock down the states because the constitution prevents it from doing so, it's not because of Trump. That's why Biden's "National Mask Mandate" has always been bullshit. He can put it in place on federal property and that's basically it.

I just find it funny that SP is bringing back the garden gnomes from earlier seasons in their heyday. I’m not sure how this will tie in with QAnon, but it’s an interesting thought.

Step 1 get shot
Step 2 ???
Step 3 Profit!

Alternatively all the kids being compelled to collect underpants after being vaccinated could be funny.

Like the parents think they've become autistic but in reality there's a deeper conspiracy to resurrect Qtulu or something.

I think I just wrote a better episode than the last three seasons.
