I was wondering if there was some way to spoof a person's Facebook messages without the user knowing about it. Took me 10 seconds of Googling to find this:

I've never heard of this shit before, I've never even considered that this is something one can do, as it seems very creepy and stalky and has no positive application. It may help explain why Hy's posts only appear on tertiary pages like "Erica R. Stone", which Len is probably an admin of. It may also explain the strange self tagging at the end of Hy's posts on that same page. Like I said, someone more computer savvy should be able to figure that out.

If this is what is happening - Len has been a very bad boy for a very long time (years). There are two types of Hy Mayerson posts on the internet (not just Facebook): (1) Boring, affluent, left-leaning schlock that is very nicely written and, (2) Insane rants, fraught with spelling mistakes and defending various local, blue collar idiot troublemakers (like Len and David Monteith). If they are both from Hy - then Hy himself is a a cow.

@Schuylkill Valley It would be interesting if Hy got a screencap of the messages he supposedly sent Erica R. Stone along with a link to the video on FB spoofing. There is a slim possibility that this was done by a third, unknown party but they would have had to be doing this for a long time (wayyy before the Kiwi found you) and for no reason and let's face it - it's not like you haven't pretended to be other people online before, right?

And anudder ting - call me paranoid but the fact that Len hides behind Tor is VERY suspect. Now, I'm not saying everyone who uses Tor and proxies distributes and collects illegal porn, but everyone who collects and distributes illegal porn uses Tor and proxies. Not making any specific claims, just posting an opinion about Tor.

Also wasn't there a complaint lodged against Len by someone he worked with that he had a bunch of child porn on his computer? Now we know where it came from, besides his home-brewed stuff.

I don't believe that. I think it's a lot more likely he opportunistically stumbled across an open Facebook session when he was at the law office, possibly even when he was taking those photographs. A lot of people leave social media shit open on their machines when they're not there. This is why that's not a good idea.

If you go over the Epic Legal Threats of Fail, available here, with the knowledge that the screenshots were taken between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, you'll see that the posts came in three bunches: 7:00-8:00 PM last night, 6:00-7:00 AM this morning, and 2:30-3:30 PM this afternoon. It's those morning posts that trouble me. Also, my communications (which I believe Mayerson received) were sent between 10 and 11 this morning. So he would presumably have been on the lookout for Lennay at 2:30.

@Nara yes the girl in the photos is the "Pizza girl" he was involved with. Yes they were friends at one point ( I know nothing beyond that, nor do I want to). He evidently got a little over enthusiastic and she told him to back off. He, predictably, didn't. From what I understand she told him to back off several times, without any results so she called the cops on him.

That's the thing. There is a ton of content on Hy's page (and that page is friends with all his family who are all clearly real). But none of the rest of the content would indicate that Hy (who is an eccentric, but highly intelligent, articulate, and successful attorney) would engage in the kind of batshit insane sperging that his account appears to have done.

I think @I'm With Chris may have figured out the solution as to how someone like Lennay could have "hacked" a Facebook account. The question is, computer-savvy Kiwis, is there any way to prove that the "Mayerson" messages on the Erica Stone page were spoofed?
