i heard stikers dont have a free mode. thats a big red flag for me. just how much story is there in the game? dose it interrupt you alot during gameplay?

No, that was added in Royal. I guess the developers thought it was weird that there weren't any foreign tourists walking around Tokyo, so they decided to put in a bunch of obnoxious gaijin taking photos with selfie sticks.

Played some Persona 5 Strikers/Scramble a couple of days ago and the anti-aliasing on PC is fucking pathetic, but I guess it has to do with the fact that it's a musou game ported from the Switch. My PC isn't a supermachine, but I'm playing it on the highest settings minus the rendering scale. It is pretty fun though and I like the music options. It is pretty sad that the DLC music is the closest we'll get to them recognizing Persona 1 and 2 duology, but what else is new.

I’ve actually given the osts of the first 2 (technically 3)games a listen. They’re pretty underrated

Anyways I’m at September in p4g. I have strength, tower, and magician maxed out and have decided to go with rise as the love interest. Also I realized waaay too late that the compendium served a greater purpose other than flavor text like the one in the castlevania games or the Pokédex. Also was anyone really surprised that Naoto is secretly a reverse trap? I knew about this beforehand but even if I didn’t the voice would’ve given it away.

What are you talking about? Naoto is a brave and stunning trans woman! But seriously, I don't think anybody thought Naoto was a guy and it was made blatantly obvious as soon as she's introduced. I'm thinking of playing a fully modded P4G playthrough, but most of the good mods are still in development unfortunately and the ones out now arent worth playing an 80-90 hour game again. All I want is to hear vanilla Chie's voice in Golden :(.

I swear persona fans have the worst media literacy skills. Any ways why do people hate Marie so much? I mean Im not what you would call a fan of her character. I mean her poetry is fucking awful (though i kind of suspect that may have been intentional) and the party members are a bit too forgiving of her acting like a douchebag but otherwise she seems fine.

The original Persona ost is God tier. Unfortunately the composer, Hidehito Aoki, died after driving off a icy cliff, but his work is a lot better than Meguros.

His work on the Majin Tensei games are amazing for snes scores.

I need some alcohol to wash away my thoughts on this. The mental gymastics for people to believe this is outstanding its like they didn't even pay attention to the story and the amount of times people had debunk that theory. Also I'm enjoying P5S so far and I hope SMT 5 will be the shit.

For the most part, the modding community for P4G is pretty chill with them adding QOL features and what-not. A mod like this was bound to happen eventually so I'm not that surprised. There was even a version of the same mod for the original PS2 version too so this should really not be a surprise to anybody. There was a mod where Nanako wears a MAGA hat and shares her Voice Actor's political beliefs, but it was taken down, so the Gamebanana mods clearly don't want P4G's modding community to become a political shithole. It is still featured, however...

True, I was less talking about that and most so the Naoto is trans theory. It always feel like people push this theory just because that is what they want Naoto to be even though it makes no sense story wise. Its a theory that would never stay dead.

The facts of the character itself is irrelevant, they're just desperate for a person to champion and push to say 'see, we're validated by media!'

I don't know what "free mode" is, but you can go back to the old dungeons after beating them to grind including refighting beaten bosses via repeatable Requests. The calendar advances based on story progression (i.e. entering and leaving a dungeon does not use up the day like in the original) so you can theoretically grind forever.

There is considerable story and it definitely does interrupt the gameplay, especially at first. There isn't a strict dichotomy between social time and dungeon time in this game so they bleed into each other quite heavily.

She's started out as a tsundere which turned people off and her arc is not as good as Aigis, who social link explored the same theme one game before. Also hollow forest is a chore to go through and the boss is a joke.
She's voiced by HanaKana though, so that made her best girl by default and the other portion of the fanbase is just fucking wrong.

I mean I know the killers identity (I was spoiled on it years ago and even if i hadnt it would be hard to avoid given that there are youtube videos showcasing him grinning maniacally with the title "anatomy of an edge lord". Its one of those things like senator armstrong or the secret of dios stand that have become so memed that you actively have to be a luddite to avoid

I have a theory that all of these assholes are secretly neil druckmann butthurt over the fact that his tomboy character sucks and is trying to disqualify Naoto to thin out the competition by just a little bit
