That's been debunked already a long time ago. They hired someone who used the same way to dump roms. A lot of the games lack the same headers you'd expect from a downloaded rom. Other companies, however don't have the same luxury and probably have downloaded dumps.

Also no, they don't use snes9x. Snes9x is an emulator for PC. They wouldn't work on a Nintendo console. Nintendo has their own damn department for making emulators.

Fun fact, Christmas in Japan is synonymous for couples and sex now the "Holy Night" refers to the hours of couples having sex during Christmas night. Also KFC chickens.
Same with Halloween in Japan is synonymous with costumes, sex, and wild party. The legendary truck flipping incident in Shibuya 2019 is still my favorite

Also, is it just me or did the Holo girls has reduced their Minecraft stream recently? Must be bored with the game

snes9x is written in C man. It's been ported to everything, including game consoles (there's a snes9x port for the 3DS ffs). You're confusing it with zsnes which is written in non-portable x86 assembly.

But you are correct that it's actually Nintendo's in-house emulator Canoe.

you mean holo en? probably yeah, which is understandable since the only active player are ina and ame, sharky plays sometimes but not much, calli's dead, the bird chasin ryza's ass, the jp and id are still actively playing it

Despite a lot of vtubers seemingly using it to straight up learn a language, Duolingo is a horrible tool for it. You're supposed to use it as an supplementary tool alongside actual lessons of any specific language, (or for simple shit to use as a tourist) not a substitute.
You probably CAN learn languages with it, maybe relatively "simple" ones like Indonesian, but you're probably going to sound and write like a retard if you learn with only fucking Duolingo.

If you want to learn Japanese I don't think you're going to get very far without paying for lessons or at least a goddamn book, at least not without some hard determination. I guess I recommend WaniKani? It's not the best but it's relatively straight-forward

For what its worth, Korone is taking actual lessons, and her English has improved significantly.
