Hoshikawa has always paid attention to her overseas audience. Back in when she was doing morning zatsudan stream she'd always asked if there's an english live translator in the chat before anything. Too bad those aren't a thing anymore. From what I heard she is one of the few who's really active on the subreddit too, despite the others only posted once or twice after their introduction.



This clip already dated a year back, so it's not like she's just discovered the magical unicorns of english speakers recently.

I love that one to bits, though I am forced to admit that the best one he did was when he improvised a percussion beat for Next Color Planet, a song fans may have noticed doesn’t use drums at all.

I read a ratt from somewhere that he was approached by Hololive to do some official stuff, but can't reach agreement on contract, so he doesn't do Hololive song anymore.
His NCP cover is one of the first clip I watch in this hole. Shame.
 
If nijisanji successfully ventures out of the JP/ID sphere, then they'll be a force to be reckoned with. Their formula of not abiding idol rules and having more relaxed standards for their talents (particularly wrt mixed gender interactions) is probably much more to western tastes than Cover's idol schtick.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was true. Japanese media companies are very gung-ho about artists signing away all rights to stuff produced under contract and that is a definite line in the sand for most western artists, especially ones that live in the indie music scene.

If Nijisanji EN happens, I hope we get male livers. There's virtually no corporate male VTuber for EOP in the time where people are skeptical with western indies. They could get big if they proceed to gain the attention of your average dude that watches Twitch streamers or teenage girls that could come in droves to watch the new hot shit.
