Now why the fuck are Sako mags so expensive for a piece of polymer with some steel inserts? Making HK prices look reasonable.

Personally I have a like for the A1 grips as opposed to A2 on an AR-15, which I'm not really a fan of in the first place. Nice and smooth and gives you a bit of retro flavor. Got one on a .308 lower I built. Not sure what I want to do with the upper though.
I'd Give my soul for a replica of the sturmgewehr aka STG44. Though never mass produced by the krauts there are plenty of reproduction models floating around. I checked and unfortunately in addition to having to go through NJ's bs gun licensing process they obviously can only fire in semi auto, can't accept pistol grips or bump stocks, solid rifle stocks and regular grips only, even the goddamn barrel can't be "too short" so it cant be easily concealed. I swear sometimes i hate the lot in life i was given if only because im stuck in the california of the east coat.
It's Solid Snake's pistol, after all. "The only crew-serviced handgun".@The Dude
What sold you on the mk23 in the first place?
Biden gave some virtue signals on the anniversary of Parkland, but other than that, not much more than ShannonWhat's the latest news on gun control?
9th Circus is going to re-hear Duncan v. Becerra, so that doesn't bode well. What's the latest news on gun control?
Depends. Did you get out of Calizuela yet?Are the Springfield Armry Saint ARs any good?
And thoughts on the M1A scout rifle sold by them?
Some politicians like the Lizardmen from Connecticut are posturing, but nothing is in play just yet. Real happenings in gun rights generate more buzz than the usual clickbait on TTAG.9th Circus is going to re-hear Duncan v. Becerra, so that doesn't bode well.
More specifically, they granted it en banc review which almost never happens except when they want to screw over a pro-gun decision which is exactly what happened with Peruta v San Diego. The odds now are a little better than they were then, but Duncan now still has to clear first the hurdle of getting a pool of friendly 9th circuit judges (already an uphill battle since the chief justice is anti-gun) and if it loses there hoping that SCOTUS won't cuck out hearing it.9th Circus is going to re-hear Duncan v. Becerra, so that doesn't bode well.
Im still in Commiefornia.Depends. Did you get out of Calizuela yet?

Saints are pretty nice for what they are, if not a bit pricy, what makes you look into them? Not judging, just want to see your wants and maybe we can figure something else. Are the Springfield Armry Saint ARs any good?

Its the only thing for sale at where I live at. I wanted the Ruger AR-556s initially but they all sold.Saints are pretty nice for what they are, if not a bit pricy, what makes you look into them? Not judging, just want to see your wants and maybe we can figure something else.
Heavy, I love me the m1 but it's a lot more weight than you think (inb4 go to gym)
@The Dude Congrats your dudeship and super jelly. I'd pick up all the ammo costs if you let me have a few mags thru her! May it treat you well.
I want to redo my makarov slide, I'm willing to do something retarded for the lulz like case hardening even. But cold blue I can do at home. Any suggestions ideas? Should I do sights too? A bored man with free time and guns he can't shoot (thanks ammo shortage) gets silly dreams.
I really like the AR (kinda a ruger fan boy tbh) they make, it's a good solid gun for a fair price, I gotta say the M&P series is a good patrol/entry rifle too.Its the only thing for sale at where I live at. I wanted the Ruger AR-556s initially but they all sold.
Their lasers are ok. I expect their scopes are the same Chinesium as low end Vortex and everyone else. Are Crimson Trace scopes any good? Midway currently has a deal on a “3-Series”, 4x-20x, 50 mm that I am seriously considering.
Nightforce is really just next tax bracket type of shit. It's probably hot now because of the gear queers who own used NODs think just because it's expensive, it will buy them status on Instagram.I’ve mainly bought Leupold in the past, but it’s been several years since I’ve actually shopped for a scope. The scope market seems to have really changed over the past 10-15 years. Nightforce seem to be the current hotness; I might give Vortex a look.
