I was just going through a bunch of joyful oblivion's khantributions on PPG to see if anything stood out, and one thing I notice is that he usually never includes a message with his tip/cheer/sub. Its also possible (and more likely IMO) that he does include a message and DSP just doesn't read it. Its probably some embarrassing or retarded message, and phil just says "thank you for the khantribution, I really appreciate the help", and moves on. I also noticed that most of his khantributions were $5, $10 or less (via tip and cheer), which tells me that he really cant afford to give the pig extra money. This was UNTIL Feb of last year, where he gave a $50 tip. There were a few other tips throughout the year, but notice these last couple of days of "support" are happening in Feb again. More than likely a tax refund, or some other government assistance (stimulus, whatever). The point being, this is more than likely another fag that doesn't get any recognition or attention anywhere else (pastryarchy) comes to mind, so the only way he can get it is through Phil's stream.
...who also can't take a fraction of the shit he dishes out. Getting under his skin is piss easy and as soon as you do he turns into a fainting southern belle with the vaypuhs. He'd be 1000% more charming if he'd engage and throw down with the bantz but he was obviously the meek non-entity who got nailed as the social punching bag on day two of high school and just never recovered.
I have no doubt it's some kind of corporate horseshit he had to sit through to get him to stop being toxic in the workplace and thinks it actually applies to the real world when he doesn't get his way. He is a living example that it doesn't work.
It's always been a personal theory of mine that he was at some point told by someone of influence (maybe a talent developer at Machinima or something) that if he wanted a shot at chances for sponsorships etcetera that be couldn't he such a negative dickhead all the time, and Phil being Phil took this to mean that all the work he'd need to put in is saying his stream content was positive, and in the meantime the greed in his brain linked "people like positivity" to "people give money to things they like".
You can see it in his face whenever he starts calling a game trash. He wears a big, smug grin as he reads his chat and says bullshit like "People think this game is good?!"
Oh, it has to be! I see Phil as someone that walked around that helicopter support company like a big dick in the locker room. "Dood, my dad works here! I can get you fired for talking to me that way!" *snort* and showing off how "smart" he was with his business degree.
actually, now that you mention it, it started after the joyful_oblivion tip. Given this idiot's khantributions over the last couple of days Phil is probably expecting more.
