Sure, using charity to flex is pretty toxic, but if I had to choose between someone who donates to charities for clout (either partially or entirely) and someone who actively doesn't donate and also discourages the existence of the former, I'm choosing the former.

Not only does DSP not donate to charity, if he had his way a shitload of charities would be deprived of the money they would have otherwise received from celebrities, clout donaters, etc. It's double the harm when it comes to DSP.

In the end, what should matter most is whether a charity gets money.

The people he rags on for doing charity work are usually using their clout as an entertainer to spotlight a charity and drive donations, which is probably the only good thing you can really do with clout. I don't know of anyone who unprompted will tell you about how much they gave to any charity.

Yes, that's true. You have the SOK who bought that well in Africa to prove they were better people than Phil. But you also have Tevins who do a 24 hour not DSP related charity stream.

It depends on the person. Fred Fuchs bought that well to show how he was better than Phil. Tevin did a charity stream because kids have cancer.

It's just spite and jealousy. Everybody should keep their charity private because if they don't DSP is going to be exposed for the parasite he is. He gives nothing back to anybody in society. The piggybank is the only charity he endorses and hypocritically he loves for you to use your charity to flex on "da haterz" and hey, he'll even give you a public shout-out for being so generous.

Yup, and more importantly if the charity actually uses the money for the purpose they set out for and don't just scam people by paying themselves big salaries and then paying a pittance for the work they're supposed to be doing. Even if someone donates thousands of dollars for a shitty reason, what matters most is whether those thousands of dollars will be used to help people in need or not.

However it's not just the cringy cloak and dagger shit they do in private that I find hilarious. It's also all the times they shit on Phil for something, only for them to later do the same thing.

I've seen detractors shit on Phil's relationship with Katherine, which makes sense because it's bloody weird. Yet I see the same people later post how they can't find a date, are overweight and are thus lonely.
Same goes for when Phil posts food. Detractors make fun of the paper plates and microwave dinners. Just to later post the same bloody thing, a poorly made microwave dinner on a paper plate. Their shit smells better I guess.
Best part is when they make fun of Phil for low views, while some of these detractors stream for 6 people and are lucky to make a buck.

The cringe comes from their obvious envy.
They do OPs on other detractors too, they shit talk them in private, "look into them", share private DMs, but in public they act all buddy buddy. The SoK was never really gone, it just changed leadership.
