Thanks, this entire thread is retarded with the devs responses. Are they going to decide every figure in the past is problematic because on some level everyone was racist and/or anti-Semitic, regardless of ethnic background? Thank the Lord for Kaiserreich Redux, even if the Memegolian Empire happens too much. I didn't even know KR removed Kennedy Sr. from the game despite him being one of the most politically prominent figures in New England.

Edit: "Kennedy is still a Nazi" is going into by picture book of braindeads. Then again this retard supports both Socialism and Biden at the same time somehow. Wonder how much Old Man Good syndrome he will have once Biden starts several wars, goes back on student loan debt entirely, and decides the stimulus actually meant 100 dollars.

I am utterly uncertain of what you are talking about there. Cato was known to be incorruptible. At a time where corruption was ubiqitous. Look at all the bribes and backroom deals Caesar or Pompey took and made to compare. Or Crassus or any contemporary. He was by far the least greedy of the major players there. As for caring for his influence, he wasn't the one looking to make himself the new Sulla. That's Caesar and Pompey. He was an insufferable bastard, but that's because he was the last barricade of the Old Republic that had long passed. The cause of the aristocracy, of traditional republican virtues and the power of the senate. Take of that what you will, but it's insane to call him greedy in a scenario where the alternatives is Caesar, who had racked up a debt so large he had to genocide and enslave millions of celts to begin to cover it and was a noted bribe taker.

I am referring to the Younger one. He is mostly to blame for Ceasar's Civil War as he fucked up negotiations between the Pompeiians and Caesarians attempt at hashing out an agreement and terms. Cunt continued fight even after Pompey's murder and hated Caesar's populism to the core. I'm not saying Trump is allegorical to Caesar (Maybe a little, I see him more allegorable to the populist Gracchi brothers who were murdered on orders of the Patrician elite for supporting pleb reforms.
