Other than the Powerpuffs being results of experiments, what's wrong with those eye colours on dark-skinned characters? I never saw it as a race thing, since some good dark-skinned characters/OCs that isn't about race has shades of blue or green colours to make the eyes more striking against the dark skin. Does Twitter/Tumblr really see eye colours on fictional beings about race?

Without going too far off topic, most female characters in cartoon world aside from the "villiains" are depicted with blue eyes, sometimes green, and quite often with blond hair. Girls notice this at a young age, particularly those of us who don't have blond hair, blue eyes. We get told backhandedly that brown/brown is "ugly + inferior", and that "ugly girls are also worthless"-- so, this kind of reinforces a beauty standard that also happens to have racist undertones. There's something about "who cares about nature, blue and green eyes are more pleasing to the male eyes!". It's like literally promoting the "white supremacist patriarchy" they claim to hate. IF your goal is to show "diversity" in art, then depict naturally occurring brown eyes in female characters.

One thing I'm wondering about now considering Stone Ocean and the possible anime is what SJW artists and the like are gonna do with Anasui. On one hand, I can see people already decrying him as a horrible creep and portray him as a stalker-rapist. On the other hand, though, people are also gonna inevitably see how he was originally in the manga and start portraying him as a trans man and that conflicts with the earlier statement cause trans characters can't be anything else than soft uwu babies.

That was a long ramble but it really gets me thunkin considering this is a case of Schrodinger's FtM.

If you go to tumblr, Anasui falls under
- If you like Anasui you will be blocked and deported b/c Anasui is "unredeemable and shitty"
- WHAT IF HE WAS BLACK/ ambiguously brown (the majority)
- "hard to swallow pills: Anasui is trans and you can do nothing about it"
- Ayo Anasui is pretty cool I like him lol (the minority)
- or how bout I never draw Anasui outside of the "dis shit aint disney" panel whats an anasui lol I only know lesbians XDD

I like Anasui, my bro's fave part is stone ocean, we're both waiting but GOD I am not ready to see what shit comes. We all saw how the passione suddenly are all trans, gay, and brown even if uhhh Abbacchio, Giorno, and Fugo are pale as all fuck get out. But like by making them black, isn't that like erasing Italians or something? Dark skinned Italians do exist, however it's different than tumblr's default ambiguously brown.

It's based on this post, where I guess OP had posted a picture of their dad at some point and someone came into their inbox saying something retarded, and OP reacted accordingly. And because of how tumblr memes circulate, everybody and their dog made their own variation of it with characters they like, running the "joke" into the ground as per usual.

I know about Steven Silver! He worked on Kim Possible too. Dude's a major influence. What surprises me most here is you replying to a comment I made back in September.

I get where this is coming from, but there's an alarming number of people who know that things like this are racist in certain contexts but not why.
