Over the years I've gotten more sympathetic to Destiny and actually kind of like him. I liked when he posted in this thread too. I genuinely seemed like he enjoyed its existence and that to me says a lot about a person's temperament even if I disagree with them.
He strikes me as "politically homeless" based on how he talks about his current events. It's clear he wants to support his version of the NeoLiberal agenda with it going "too far" (think abolishing standardized testing/math, BLM riots, etc.). What he doesn't realize is that you literally cannot stop certain areas of moral degradation; decadence in first-world countries means people must look for problems to obsess over and that necessitates far left retards being retards. Desinty's philosophy and current arguments cannot, by definition, "debunk" or "defeat" anything the DSA, progressives, etc. have done towards him, because their rationales and philosophies are just a natural extension of his. This mental stop he places on "leftist absurdity" is based on nothing but his intuition that something is deeply wrong. If he were to follow that gut-feeling with any sort of academic rigor he would end up being fully opposed to pretty much everything he supports now though, and he can't do that (he'll lose his livelihood), so he's stuck in this never ending turmoil.

Theres a beautiful irony to it all really. Destiny in many ways has learned from some of his mistakes, he isn't nearly as bad as he was a few years ago. I think on some level he regrets some of his past actions, as while his overall ideology hasn't changed, its been passed by with his successors. He's been eaten alive by the monsters he created, in some cases very literally. There are many less extreme leftists that have been passed by, but I can't think of any of them who were so directly involved in the creation of their undoing the way Destiny has. People like JK rowling may have been eaten alive byt he culture they helped created, but Destiny trained his own destruction. He was crucial in the rise of both Hasan and Vaush, who have dethroned him and taken things much father than he would like. I'd have to imagine he wishes he could've done things differently.
