Mega Rad Gun Thread

Oh, right. I knew Kalashnikov Concern had been sanctioned over Ukraine.

Doing more research, it appears in the case of TulAmmo USA, it has just enough degrees of separation from Rostec, Russia's state-owned arms conglomerate, to stay in compliance with Treasury sanctions.
I have to do more checking to see if Trump undid part or all of that executive order.

Thank you for the info. Again.

Any thoughts on the Stribog Neshan Johnson gen 2 for a 9mm pdw?
I don't have one personally nor have I shot one, but the people I do know with them love them and think they're excellent firearms. I know Grand Power has excellent CS and stands behind their product.

Wish I could shoot buffalo bore 44 ammo in my Rossi R92. Even 44 Special is assrape out of the 20" barrel, let alone any magnum bullets

its an arma 3 weapon, does the caseless ammo produce enough force?

It's not caseless, at least not the 6.8mm ammo the military is testing. The SIG team is using a steel and brass two-piece case, the General Dynamics team is using a polymer case with a steel base shaped like a normal rifle cartridge, and the H&K team are using a telescoped polymer case where the projectile is seated down inside the propellant and the case looks cylindrical. Caseless ammo is pretty much dead for now since making the powder sturdy enough to serve as its own case in combat conditions is beyond current technology. Now the focus is making the case lighter weight while also standing up to higher pressures.

I used to own a mini 14. It was approximately a year 2000 model. Fun to shoot; easy to maintain; not real accurate. I think I was getting 4” groups at 100 yds. I understand the more recent models get better accuracy. I had kitted mine out to look more like a M-14 - walnut stock, birdcage flash hider plus front sight, “Accu-Strut” ( which looked like a gas tube). It mostly sat in the safe though so I ended up trading it for a 7.5” Redhawk.

Even though they were't designed for pinpoint accuracy they still seem very competitive with the AR15 and AK's ect.

I can’t comment on AK’s but the few AR’s I’ve shot seemed to have been a little more accurate than the mini 14. The mini seems lighter than the AR, if that is an advantage.

I often rotate my truck guns, and one of them is a mini 14 and I love it for that purpose. Cheap, reliable, rugged, and you don't have to worry about it getting knocked around or dirty or stolen because of that. Mediocre accuracy compared to a similar price point AR, but way, way better iron sights than almost any modern AR at the same price point in my opinion, so it balances things out a bit.

And Winchester who went out of business decades ago and the current day "Winchester" is a completely different company wearing a skinsuit.
Winchester is now owned by Browning. They are making good guns. I do not know about their Turkish imported shotguns though. I don't ever see anything on the SPX pump action or the over 101 over under.

The surplus Croat mags I ordered came in. All fit with no issues and cycled an entire 30 without issue, so thats good.

Got a line on a Zastava M92 for cheap, wish me luck.

Also does anyone know of websites dedicated to gun videos after Youtube started the purge of gun channels a while back.
