Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

I rather see a remake or a bundle for the two Zelda Oracle games. Those were great tbh. Doubt it will happen.
It's not entirely impossible -For the 2d games LTTP was remade in 2013 (well, pretty much, ALBW is basically a remake) and then the next game released, Link's Awakening was remade in 2019.

So I'm hoping the Oracle games would be next. That'd be nice.

I'm not thrilled that the levels are less elaborate than World's but they somehow all utilize the grappling mechanic which does everything a disservice by giving you no good places to explore, at times the environments looks like you went out of bounds because the lack of detail is very apparent. Combat feel less smooth than world and a definite step back. New monsters look like Chinese KO versions of existing monsters. They're going to eventually be charging for DLC that was considered free in all other installments of the series.

I've got very mixed feelings on the whole thing. GU team looks like they're not improving their track record.

Not to get anyone's hopes (or fears) up but there are pretty credible Switch Pro rumors in Bloomberg today, complete with realistic specs.
If you can't transfer system data from the regular switch to the Pro switch i will launch multiple nukes at Japanese Nintendo's offices. In Minecraft. inb4 exclusive games on switch pro

With those specs I don't see why they're making a new switch, it's even less of an upgrade the PS4 pro was to the PS4.

But if it's true that the joycon slots are different, a bunch of people just dropped 80 bucks or more on Zelda ones that won't slide into the new model.

Define realistic. Most decent looking Switch games struggle 1080p while docked, and what unit Bloomberg is reporting also still only outputs 720p handheld.

It doesn't support 4k rendering, it only upscales to 4k without throwing a fit. This isn't a Switch Pro, it's a new revision that still looks externally the same. Plus, no way they're making a radically different unit when every other manufacturers are having issues crapping out products. Nvidia is struggling to make 30 series, they sure ain't going to go out of their way to make a snowflake Tegra just for Nintendo.

This also loops back into something I talked about in the past: Just what percentage of the Switch userbase actually plays on their TV? The Lite makes up the majority, and that's still a dinkly 720p screen.

1. Nintendo hates glitches even if they’re fun ones
2. They wanted to use the version of Mario 64 with rumble
Nintendo hating glitches is not true, they left most of the glitches of the 3DS version of Ocarina of time, and breath of the wild had a ot of nonsense glitches still in the game.
They left them in because they are not game breaking.
