Every small-minded and frustrated person dreams of having the power to just declare themselves rich and in charge, (and justify the obvious abuse of twisting the self-determination of who knows how many people in the process as a mix of those others being sheep, and themselves being practically Demigods due to their own incredible and self-appointed intellectual vigor) Having failed to get anything of value by mid-life, it's no surprise the biggest power-mongers are unhappy, unattractive, unpersonable and very below-average people.

What is this "power"? Usually, somehow, amassing enough political influence to make your own will law, but the particulars are very foggy.

But rest assured, giving them this power will put everything right without them having to apply any firsthand guidance beyond just Tweeting out their personal desires, as it will inspire some other equally-nebulous group of "allies" to do the heavy lifting.

They see it as some kind of quasi-magic, never really defined about what it is (right side of history) but MILITANTLY and STRIDENTLY isn't. It's not white, not male, not capitalist and not conservative.. but aside from that, they have no clue what it is except some kind of divine light.
Bob reminds me of villains who move heaven and earth to get control of a country, only to sit on their ass and be bothered everytime someone tries to tell them some news, have them sign some forms, or arrange a conference call. They think power is just standing in front of large placards of oneself and throwing enemies into gulags, but there's a lot more to it than that. Even Stalin was probably bored stiff by half of the stuff he had to do in a single day.

To leftists like Bob, power is nothing more than a currency, like money. The more you have, the more you can do. Power is the only thing that matters, because once you have it, you can remake the world in your own image. If you have to lie, cheat, kill or steal to get it, that's fine because you can just make it up to the people you've wronged or rewrite history to show that you never commited any crimes. You can also rationalize it by saying "I may be a monster, but I'm doing what's necessary so the people who come after me won't have to be." Bob's rationalizing it by saying that his enemies aren't human and are posing a threat to the "good" people who think like him. Bob also thinks that life is like the movies where the good people always win, so that means he'll be victorious in the end.

Most of us here have no idea where Bob's getting this idea that he's the good guy, because most people who act and talk like Bob in movies are dyed in the wool villains who either end up dead at the end of the film, or end up having an entire truckload of manure dumped onto them thanks to the heroes' actions. Most Kiwifarmers pretty much Bobwatch so they can see his final comeuppance, although Bob has endured humiliations that would have broken other lolcows and has soldiered on, changing not one whit from his negative experiences.

He's far too stupid to ever learn from his negative experiences and change for the better.

"AOC died for your sins." - MovieBob, probably.
I seriously think that a lot of people on the online left have an unhealthy attachment to AOC and that that attachment wouldn't be there if she was a man, or heck, a less attractive woman.

The way horny 40 year old men leap in to defend a woman they've never met and who's got a boyfriend is incredibly creepy to me.
And can I just say, I really hate the term "POC" that the left decided needed to exist. It's just another way to say colored person. It didn't become less racist because the words got switched around. I'm just glad I've managed to avoid having it used on me so far.
The issue I have with the term ”POC” is it implies everyone who isn't white has something in common.
The Kiwis look from Bob to Chu, and from Chu to Bob, and from Bob to Chu again...
7.png
Let me just point out that the people who say the left should treat Republicans like Republicans treat black people also think every Republican is a Klansman who wants to lynch black people.
Older POC are not true and honest POCs, so their opinion doesn't matter.

Movieblob probably thinks that AOC and Jennifer Lopez represent all Latinos.

I think it's worth pointing something else out that the left don't realise about Latinos - Catholicism. Latinos are far more Catholic than the rest of the US. Do you really expect a Catholic people to support abortion on demand and free hormones to troons because they tend to vote blue?
The majority of the world does not believe a kid can troon out. The majority of the world, therefore, is apparently obsolete.
Two things:
• a photo being grainy does not make it less true.
• pointing out things that really happened does not make you a Q tard. If Gates and Epstein repeatedly met, that deserves investigation, and saying that does not mean that you think Trump was anointed by God to drive out a cult of Satanic paedophiles.
That's weird, because I'm sure that Blobbo has sperged about hate speech before.
I haven't watched the video and I don't plan to because it's going to be on the level of that ”the card says moops” video, but Stonetoss making a few comics which boil down to ”haha nigger! Haha I said the funny no no word!” does not make him a Nazi when he actually has some pretty good takes.
Arkle on the Abortion Debacle:

If seeing that picture genuimely makes Lindsay feel ill, I'd gladly share it with the picture replaced with a description of it if that would please Arkle. But we all know that Lindsay saying that only matters because Arkle is trying to use it to simp for Blob.

(side note - how fucked up do you have to be to simp for a fat film reviewer?)

Chu Chu Rocket achieved something closer to actual success in his life, even if it was very short lived fame and an even briefer stint as a Twitter good boy until the former fizzled out and the later crashed and burned when he simped for a morbidly obese animal abuser who hated troons. He also actually managed to trick a woman into marrying him. Thankfully, he wasn't slick enough to make her stay or continue his defunct gene pool. But the running theme here is Chu at least has the brainpower and social skill to get nice things in life for a little while, and only loses them because he can't control his inner asshole.

Bob is 40 and not married, isn't in a serious relationship and likely never has been, hasn't ever had any level of notoriety that wasn't through mockery and can't even worm his way into a lefty youtube circle that openly brags about only doing videos to make money. Chu, at the very least, had enough superficial charm to get some nice stuff.
Chu proudly admitted he can't satisfy his wife. Bob has one over on him there because he never hsd to admit to something like that.

That's also why he thinks the mayoghouls won't deploy their arsenal to defend themselves. To him, enacting his policies will be like HoI 4: you just click on the decision or research the focus and boom, it's done. The territory has been taken in an instant, the enemies are purged, your political power was deducted to accomplish it and all is okay.

Bob's delusion that he's the good guy is that it's heavily informed by the X-Men, specifically Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants who he identifies with the most. He's made the analogy himself: they are persecuted, therefore their struggle is just unlike Professor X who cowtows to lowly normal humans too much. He also has speculated that he was "bullied" because he was better than his "bullies" (hammer X to doubt). He's taken that from the Brotherhood and further onto real life. He's superior to those he's opposed to and thinks they hate him because Bob Chipman is an evolved sort. That justifies him as the good guy even though he holds views that wouldn't make Heydrich raise a brow.

TLDR: Bob believes he's good because, in his delusional mind, those against him want him destroyed for being better than them, therefore he's right to crush them.

so now that wander visions was just another capeshit pow pow affair and not fucking lost highway how will roberto retardo justify his basic white trash taste?

mahhhhvel.png

Like this I guess.

Bobby already thinks run-of-the-mill capeshit is high art, so he will just keep doing what he was doing.
Someone mentioned this with people claiming Ant-Man is a heist flick, but for Bob and people like him, the mild early season weirdness will be enough for him to claim it's some inspired homage to something with more artistic meat and potatoes to it.
Like this here. Blob couldn't run a thought experiment if you gave it to him in a powerpoint. But he thinks that pointing people to the wikipedia page is basically the same thing.

The Ship of Theseus is Basic Bitch Pop Culture Philosophy 101. Just about every "science"-based Youtube Channel has discussed this one. I would have thought The Trolley Problem would be a more relevant thought experiment for a capeshit show, since it deals with having to put the needs of the many over the needs of the few, something you'd think that supetheroes would have to deal with every day.

Even if WandaVision did go highbrow and explore complex subjects, it wouldn't prove Bob's point that ephemeral entertainment is art. It would just prove that some artistic movies can revolve around the subject of superpowered humans. Which is strange because Bob hates all of the more "artistic" superhero movies like "Joker" and "The Dark Knight." He only loves MCU movies full of CGI creatures hitting each other.

Super Straight was trending on Twitter. A hashtag for the sexuality of only dating cis people of the opposite gender, using the language and arguments of LGBT+. It even has it's own flag, but troons superphobes are not happy, Bob included.

Of course Blob's unhappy. As a chaser he's inherently superphobic.

How does one say "y'all" in a thick Boston accent?

I was just thinking about the Lindsay Incident today, and I think I have some an interesting perspective.

Lindsay said that she "soft-blocked" Bob three times, but never directly confronted him or told him to stop messaging her until he explicitly associated himself with in public. This got me thinking: how many other people are just ignoring Bob even though they cringe at what he says, or even outright despise it? Are they ignoring him because they know he's toxic but don't want to stir up drama? Or are they ignoring him out of kindness because acknowledging him would necessitate insulting his deranged belief system? How many people out there are, as a recent Dave Chappelle bit put it, "supporting him with their silence"? And is that because they secretly agree with him but have the self-awareness to realize everyone would hate them for saying it? Or is it because they genuinely disagree with the shit he says but see him as a damaged sped who confronting would be like picking on the retarded kid in class?
A lot of people of the "Dirtbag"/"Post"/"Anti IdPol"-Left hate follow the Blob because if you ever want to know what a Prog/Lib is actually thinking behind the veneer of human resources speak and public relations magic, just ask fatso what he thinks about x, y, or z. He's actually a great resource in this respect, and you know it's true because no one on his side ever disagrees with Bob, they always come after him for sounding like a psychopath.

Ellis doesn't dislike Robert because of his politics, they're fundamentally in agreement on basically everything. She dislikes him for either his refusal or inability to dress up their politics in the pastel infographic, CalArts-style and present it with the tone of a hand wringing neurotic wine aunt. Moviebob strips all that away and gets right to the point. People of their particular political persuasion have a deep seated totalitarian streak, motivated by a lot of petty bitterness and pain. Ellis & co. won't fess up to it, they want to compel you to get under the boot for your own good. Moviebob doesn't have time for this and fully accepts his desire to punish the people who he thinks made him suffer; he's honest with himself, in this respect.

It must be enormously upsetting and strange to see someone loudly bloviate every dark horrible thought that you have to filter through your carefully crafted social justice mental filter. Maybe she's even bitter that she can't get away with it. It's pretty well known that engrossing yourself in their politics is mentally and emotionally taxing and requires that you constantly stay ahead of what the new terminology is, and Ellis has a pack of tranny wolves circling her twitter account ready to pounce on her for stupid shit. But it never seems like Moviebob suffers this problem.

Merely mentioning something or being about it doesn't mean that you actually explore it or reach a conclusion. It sounds to me like the show is just making a "I understood that reference" sort of framework to appear deeperthan it is. This is Marvel we're talking about here. It may rise above capeshit in moments, but it's still capeshit through and through.

This is a mad at the Internet moment, but this is something I utterly despise about Twitter Lefties. They will never, ever say the word "y'all" in their daily lives. They'll only use it to talk down to people. They must think that it's the language of the unwashed, stupid masses so they use it to to virtually wag their fingers.

The only people calling this stuff "Lynchian" are people who don't have a hope in hell of ever understanding Lynch.

"characters referred to the 'Ship of Theseus' thought experiment."

Characters, in-show, referred to it. The episode wasn't crafted around it. The series wasn't crafted around it. It was referred to. Once.

The Matrix, despite being a summer blockbuster, took the Brain in a Vat thought experiment and created three movies around it (there is no fourth movie being made.) Though that doesn't make it highbrow in any sense of the word, The Matrix was smart enough not to directly refer to the thought experiment it was ripping off.

Hell, if referring to a thought experiment makes something highbrow, then the Kiwi Farms would be pretty damned highbrow. We refer to, and engage in, thought experiments, history, science, literature, cinematography, and more. Yet, we are not an Ivy League school- we are a forum dedicated to laughing at fat retards the farming of flightless New Zealand birds and Chinese gooseberries.

As always, Bob cannot think beyond the most basic of concepts*.

*That he read about on Wikipedia in between Tweets.

Is WandaVision really this deep philosophical essay on the dangers of escapism and denial?
Because good God damn, not only our dear Generalissimo Blobo, but a good portion of "geek media" is praising the show as this groundbreaking moment in audiovisual works, tantamount to The Prisoner and Twin Peaks in terms of themes, cinematography and storytelling.

And of course, a single reference is enough for the fat walrus turd to deem it smart and deep. Let's say I write a crappy Sailor Moon yuri fanfiction, and I decide to insert a reference to, say, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, or a discussion on Plato's Theory of Forms. Will it be better? No fucking way, I will still have written lowbrow smut, and the addition of the aforementioned elements and references will only denote I'm trying to make it sound smarter and thought-provoking than a fucking fanfiction centered around lesbian sex. Not to mention the usual demographics for yuri fanfics aren't really interested in philosophical treaties. At most it can make it feel "smarter", in a "Oh, I totes understood that reference" and/or "Cool, this references that, it's obscure and therefore smart" way.

He is still mad that cinemas are now open in Texas:

"so much as a *head cold*"
I would like to highlight this to point out what I believe is gonna be the future trend: We are in flu season now in America. Does anyone know what the total number of flu cases in the entire USA, districts and territories included, were for the last week of February? There were a grand total of 17,

Don't take Fox's word for it that cases are super down. Check out the "experts" data on this.
Two years ago, before the coof was a twinkle in some chink and/or Bill Gate's eye, America looked like this.
1615048416774.png

Here's what the end of February looked like a year ago, a mere few weeks before almost every state locked down.
1615048250244.png

And here's the level of cases for the flu from last week.
1615048134832.png

Notice a difference?

I shit you not, the very morning after I heard about this there was some doctor on Good Morning America iirc saying that we should mask up, social distance, and (I say possibly because I can't find the clip right now so I can't be 100% sure) possibly shut down EVERY FLU SEASON to help slow the spread and save lives. To bring this back to Bob, Bob and his ilk have been so coddled and have such little foresight that they will gladly and greedily gobble this up and use this as an excuse to continue to have the Government rule over all of us under the guise of protection. Bob will continue to lament that theaters and that one barcade that hasn't banned him for being a creeper can't open up because there's a highly contagious strain of chicken pox going around. Chris will continue to scream into the abyss of the Internet that his wife almost died from cramps or something that could be cured if everyone just stayed goddamned home SO GIVE HIM MORE MONEY SO HE CAN CONTIUNE DOING 18 PODCASTS OF INCREASINGLY NICHE SUBJECTS THAT NO ONE OUTSIDE OF CHRIS'S CIRCLE CARS ABOUT!
