So the writing bug has bitten me, and I'm building a story binder of ideas. Problem is I'm poor and I don't want to pay for a blog and deal with SEO. But if you have a good blogging site with Good CSS support and image and music embedding, I'm all for it. My requirements are as follows:
- No creative commons shit. I want clear licensing. Some shady sites use these as fiction milking fans.
- No websites where the offer shitty 'contests' which basically the terms make you give you your rights.
- Any site that forces you to give up your rights.
- As mentioned previously, uncensored gore, cursing and adult themes.
- Communities should at least be manageably toxic. No YA Fandom dogsht where they fight each other more than they write. Constructive critisicim from members who aren't snobs, teenagers or cunts is preferable where they leave emojii ridden contents.
- No site where removal of work is easy and has notorious political cliques.
- Good interface, easy formatting. Plugins optional.
- Average writing ability should be at leas the 10th grad level, which is above the New York times, which is an 8th grade level
I'll accept fan-fic website on the condition that they have good places for submitting original work. I want to do a lot of short stories, a novella and when I'm ready, see what I can work out into a novel or series of novels. Worst comes to worst, I'll bite the bullet and buy a website. My conditions for that are user friendly, easy GUI and cheap.
Note. this site might actually not exist 100% to what I want, but any options are good.
