Is a Chinese disguised as a concern troll, funny that they mention Ichikara only because they have not picked a fight with them yet, a nice try, the "media of viewers is 10k" was the most stupid part, Hololive outside of events barring EN get solid 6-7k viewers with the lowest i have seen is 1k (Roboco) or less (Holostar)

Well, he's talking about invisible Chinese viewers being lost which could have numbered in the millions for all we know. Cept for CN earnings data, but let's pretend that doesn't exist for sake of argument. I do love how the Chinese antis still maintain undying love for their oshis like this guy for Pekora.

Invisible chinese viewers lmao they were at best less than 1%, Hololive CN had worse performance overall that Indonesia and they did not even have the perk of being guinea pigs, they were just there like wellfares characters for bilibili

Actually, I believe Calli's wine bottle and glass pngs were a gift and I know Huke made those personalized mic pngs for all the ENs as a gift.

This is one of the reasons why the holos play so many foreign games. Most western studios consider streamers to be free advertisement and encourage it. Japanese IP culture is way different. For example, many high profile games will have separate IP assignments for even their own music (not like licensed pop music in the game but actual music composed for the game) or specific voice talents. You should google some of the shit that goes down with stuff like Dragon Quest. Mind you, the younger generations in Japan aren't really so uptight about this shit (having views about IP more in line with what you'd see in Europe or North America) but most of the country's institutions are effectively gerontocratic and so this shit is going to continue for a long time.

I'm not sure where you saw that younger gen see differently when most jp younger people side with corporations on almost everything.

And the situation with permissions is due to how japanese companies have a different guideline in the west and in JP. In the west everyone can do anything, in JP only independent have it, while companies need permissions. Normally no one here would give a fuck about this, right? But most of the popular vtubers are behind companies, so they need permissions as well
