Uto actually play Visage right now but she play Dolores chapter not Lucy (since the 2nd chapter trigger are in voyager).

I actually try to tell her to take Panda Draw but well maybe she not see it.

Modern Call of Cthulhu is not scary,if you really want the scary and go the old fag way make her play Shadow of the comet (it would be weird but that game has sick ass pixel art). still is always nice to see someone playing other stuff that is not goddamn horse racing

It's a shame that Dark Corners of the Earth is so buggy because it has some great atmospheric horror. Although I think the definitive Lovecraftian horror game is still probably Eternal Darkness.

I'm not sure where you saw that younger gen see differently when most jp younger people side with corporations on almost everything.

And the situation with permissions is due to how japanese companies have a different guideline in the west and in JP. In the west everyone can do anything, in JP only independent have it, while companies need permissions. Normally no one here would give a fuck about this, right? But most of the popular vtubers are behind companies, so they need permissions as well

Japan's perspective on company permissions is downright autistic. When you have Japanese TV blurring even brand logos on shirts to the point where TV personalities/guests have to remove the labels on the bottled water they're drinking (because permissions), how much more when it comes to asking for permissions for monetized game streams.

No. The person who send me this said that Poka got a legal firm to help him going against the person who falsely copyright strikes him. (The dude who does this is Perry Manoharan)

So it seems like that Poka (because i still cant believe that someone else would just do it) impersonates a lawyer so he can get his channel back.

Late in replying to this (because holy hell this thread moved fast), but Poppy is an American singer-songwriter who's (in)famous for her outright weird, avante-garde, and frankly erotic Youtube videos (both music and monologue; see an example here). She hasn't gone to the lengths Haato has (yet), but it's the exact same vein: cute, childlike girl doing creepy things in an entertainment format. I personally wouldn't be shocked to discover Poppy is part of Haato's recent spurt of inspiration given the broad similarities.

As for more vtuber specific stuff, there isn't much right now, but that doesn't mean some aren't trying:
