I was also following that AMA. I was going to post about it here with the typical "screencap everything!" boilerplate but then I though "No, let it just go away so I can pretend it was all a bad dream." There is nothing LOL about this sub honestly, besides a couple of our favorite fucktards edgelording it up.

The funniest/saddest part of it was that in the same post in which he said r/rapingwomen wasn't long for the world he specifically reassured the hardcore of terrible people who use Reddit to evangelize for white supremacy that r/coontown was safe, and they were just going to push it into a darker corner so it gets less outside attention.

They probably took some standard Biology course that spoke about evolution and how even humans evolved in their hunter-gatherer phase where the most adept of the male hunters that could successfully poach the most game and assert his dominance over his mates would pass on their genes and didn't seem to realize that that is no longer the case.

I would also like to point out that 99% of these fuckers would probably be in the category of "extremely fucked" if they had to go back to those times, as basement dwelling virgins that spend their time talking about how raping women should be acceptable in society are not the pinnacle of physical prowess.

Agreed. All this "lone wolf alpha" bullshit doesn't hold water when you realize that we're only at the top of the food chain because there's billions of us and we have guns and bombs and stuff...take away all of that and even the strongest man on Earth can't hold off a pack of wolves forever by himself. The strongest evolutionary advantage humans have is the ability to socialize en masse, to collectively solve problems that plague the whole. Simpler creatures are capable of doing this but they don't have the brain capacity to understand that there's a pack of wolves 100 miles away thats dying because of their lack of food, so they couldn't share their kills even if they wanted to, which they most likely wouldn't. That's why these chumps would die off, because they would take this shit to the grave, fully believing that their philosophy of life is best even if they didn't get instantly killed by opportunistic packs of two-legged predators.

Great article! One thing I forgot to mention: it is literally impossible to win wars by yourself in the fashion they prescribe to, because even if you're fucking Rambo or whatever and you go banana sandwich on animals or other people and win, what happens when you get sick? If you're by yourself, odds are good that you're dead.

A friend of mine (who actually did serve in the American army, unlike a lot of the red-pill armchair generals) once told me this: "It's a truism of modern war that every man on the front line needs at least ten support/logistics troops behind him, without whom he simply cannot fight." Soldiers need bullets, armor, food, medicine, transportation, and all that stuff to fight effectively, all of which doesn't just pop out of thin air but requires a massive and sturdy social infrastructure behind it.

What are the hermits gonna do without all that? They'll have to worry about disease, like you said (and I think it's a fair bet none of them know the first thing about epidemiology), but what if their guns jam? Even AK-47s get fouled up eventually, and most of these guys don't have the foresight to stock up on spare parts as well as ammunition. How about shelter? Do these guys have any idea how much maintenance any habitation more advanced than a cave requires? They might make a big deal about building log cabins with their bare hands, but one infestation of termites and they'll be up shit creek without a river. Food? You can't live off spam forever, unless you want to die of malnutrition, you'll want a varied diet. That means knowing how to grow crops, or forage/hunt properly, or husband animals, all of which are skills that take time to learn. Most civilized people have figured out that a division of labor works very well for that--you've got farmers, hunters, and shepherds, all of whom trade what they know to someone who knows what they don't to benefit everyone. That's gonna be tough for some Lone Wolf out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but a rusting assault rifle and over 9000 boxes of ammunition to keep him company.

I think my personal favorite thing that would kill most people if society collapsed, especially anti-social shuts in who have weak immune systems due to their sheltered nature, or at least more than more active people: Water. We in our (presumably) first world living standards are accustom to highly clean water, devoid of most harmful bacteria and germs. If society collapses and you're out and about, drinking out of streams and lakes, you're going to get highly sick from it. Unlike our ancestors centuries back who had to live off such water, owing to society being unable to effectively filter it, our immune systems wouldn't be familiar with any of the bacteria living in natural locations, and would be highly susceptible to a number of illnesses. Good luck with surviving total societal collapse when the first stream you drink from gives you Montezuma's Revenge.
