Unless you are military, police, or similar (different objectives than a normies survive at all costs goal) the best way to deal with "self defense" is to follow what is taught in corporate active shooter training. 1) if you can get away, get away 2) if you CAN'T get away hide 3) If you CAN'T get away AND CAN'T hide then and only then fight. This can adjust to defend others or property (but is the Tranch worth defending to the death?). IF there was a threat they should focus on saving themselves let mommy, daddy, and insurance sort out property matters.
