Del Rey just dropped the news via Twitter that the Mandalorian original novel and Visual Guide have both been cancelled..."due to the ever-expanding world of the show", whatever the fuck that means.

That don't make no fucking sense. As okay as I was with The Mandalorian, it was very much still reliant on nostalgia and stuff like The Clone Wars. There was very little "expansion" in the sense that we know.

All they need to do is edit her out of the episodes. Would be funny if Disney was so desperate to make this go away that they throw the Mandalorian in its entirety under the bus and focus solely on Book of Boba Fett from here on out and ignore Mando ever existed.

That would be real fucking bad. Memory-holing Mando but not the sequel trilogy.

There's a Chinese CGI movie called L.O.R.D. 2 that got low-key released not long ago, and Fan Bingbing's scenes and likeness was removed from the film because of the tax scandal she was involved in (assuming you trust the Chinese government). That film is now disjointed as fuck when you try to watch it.

If Disney does go to the extreme of editing Cara Dune out of The Mandalorian, I hope they do it the way they edited Winnie the Pooh out of the Chinese version of Kingdom Hearts III.

And to top it off the name of the villains in this, the "drengir", is just a jumble of "red herring" according to that leak from an SW convention detailing the project's plot details because these things are just there to mislead the audience about the real main villain which is said to be a Palpatine knockoff.

Carano last month raised the issue of a double standard in an interview with conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, noting that Pascal was not fired for a 2018 tweet comparing undocumented children in cages in the U.S. to Jews in concentration camps.
Asked about Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy, Chapek said he is “absolutely thrilled” with her and the company looks forward “to having Kathy directing the activities of the entire Lucasfilm operation for many years to come.”

It just disgusts me to see that Disney doesn't even bother to care trying to tell apart different Asian cultures. They just threw them all in a blender so that it can appeal to all Asians. It's not that hard to narrow things down. I mean, at least Avatar the Last Airbender did it, with the Fire Nation being based on Imperial Japan, and the Earth Kingdom being based on Ancient China, and the two of them utterly HATING each other in the Airbender cartoon. (Season 2 was all about how the Fire Nation plotted to take over the Earth Kingdom)

And of course, Asians do Asian stuff better than white leftists can. I mean, you look at Asian mythology movies and TV shows made in Asia, and they get things right more than the Hollywood drek does. They also have an easier time appealing to the average Asian due to them knowing what their people like: strong men, pretty women, family values, among other things.
