Once again, failing to understand that private investigators are not cops. Cops don't even like private investigators, as it's stepping on their toes and potentially illegal. A lot of private investigators end up in jail for a weekend or two due to their activities (spying on people, taking illicit photographs, etc).

Now there was a drug raid in North Huntingdon, PA today, and reading up on WTAE's report on the event mentions almost 50 cops, and zero mentions of any private investigator.

If a single private investigator managed to bag two drug dealers, your bet your diaper-wrapped ass it would have ended up on the news.

Errors like that happen all the time. And they can be corrected "on the fly" at the beginning of the hearing (e.g., Nick Bate's info had to be similarly corrected).
