I believe that most VTubers have a very fucked-up sleeping cycle and most of them are nocturnals. It's not hard for them to have a Sahur stream once a week for example. Reine's definitely a Muslim btw.

Yea agreed, but muslim majority countries are not as secular as western countries. I imagine her family is a conservative upper middle class family, living within a community (given 'adzan' did leak through her stream one time) with the dad still going to the mosque. Which means very well off in Indonesian terms but not can go weekly oversea trip loaded like Reine. Her roommate's name, leaked pics and how she speaks are very much down to earth, that I believe she's probably among if not the poorest in HololiveID based on what's currently known about them assumed to be true.

Speaking of, I need to find a way to take legit Japanese lessons online; solo study is fine but nothing beats sitting and learning from someone else.

If you have the money to spare you could take an online university class. I applied as a non-degree student at a state university and have been taking Japanese as my only class. It's been a really fun experience and it's a really cool language to learn. There's so many rules and huge differences compared to English, it's both a simpler and more complicated language depending on what parts you're learning. My teacher is full blooded Japanese which I'm sure helps a lot more than if she was a random Amerimutt who's learned it as a second language. It costed about $1300 for a 10 week term at the school I'm going to.

We have finals next week yay!

You don't even have to necessarily be stateside unless you have a specific reason for wanting to hold off, a few of my classmates are international. We have a guy who is very, very American currently living in Japan taking the classes, and a Hong Kong native living in Ireland showing up to class at 3am his time to name a few.

The workload is actually really low and quite easy to handle, but this is coming from my learning style and previous knowledge of the language, as well as this being the beginner class. I had a very rudimentary grasp of some of the basics due to my many years of being a weeb. I usually spend about 1-2 hours every night Tuesday-Friday studying and practicing, then have weekly application exercises and an Oral Quiz on Saturday, and then I take Sunday & Monday off. We're able to choose any day of the week for our application and oral quiz but I prefer Saturday to give myself as much time as possible to be ready.

If you want to study language I would suggest learning from your compatriots first. A rare foreigner could explain language nuance properly.
Learning from a foreigner should come at a stage when you want to start speaking in modern ways, because books are always outdated on that aspect. Although, depending on what media you consume, it might not be that necessary.

because it's open multiplayer, everybody is playing in the same universe. granted, it's FUCKHUEG that it would take several hundred years to visit every planet (or something like that), but you can bet some autist will figure out which corner they started at and turn the star system and everything around it into 2b2t.

you can get away with stream sniping etc in something like apex which is only temporary (but still stucks), anything with more time investment will most likely devolve to the point cover won't allow it on stream.
so for something like that you'd need your own private MP session, preferably lan you can't get into at all. bit of a shame really, could be fun content otherwise, especially with VR.

if you want to trigger their autism give them something like empyrion which is a bit of that with private servers and building your own spacecrafts lego style, but it's probably still a bit too jank.
