understanding trans ideology is crucial to dismantling it. i am mainly here to lol and say whatever i want, but this thread is surprisingly informative, and i have seen multiple different long form interpretations of the issue that never would have never made it past the "transphobia!" stage in the community. it is a genuine thought stopping technique. if it hurts someone's feelings, we'll stop saying it! it turns out most older women on the internet being like "huh" to this shit were normal.

Cotton ceiling shit actually happens to other trans people within the community (usually towards transmen), but for the most part troons can get away with having their preferences. A transbian can say "I don't want to date another transgirl because it'll give me dysphoria!" and they'll likely have that respected. Dude runs the most popular Harry Potter blog on Tumblr and rants daily about how ‘Harry Potter is not that good actually, other books are better’ … yet refuses to make his blog about any other franchise. His opinion on the quality of that book series conveniently changed when Rowling was revealed as a radfem. And even though he advocates against anything that would give money to JKR (because she's LiTeRaLlY KiLliNg uS!) he still runs crowdfunding campaigns to buy Harry Potter merch that Rowling will directly profit from.

This thread has really made me second guess my opinion on trans individuals. I still don't care about the segment that just goes about their lives feeling content after transitioning and isn't bothering anyone, but my goodness the perpetually online constantly whining make the whole group look terrible. It's especially awful to hear about how terrible it is for lesbians dealing with mtf and also the plague that is the erasure of tomboy identity. Also, the weirdly high level of predators and creeps that seem to crop up in the community are really making me believe in the incel to trans pipeline that's been mentioned. They have that same creepy level of misplaced entitlement and awful personalities that incels always seem to have. It's especially fucked since that aura makes most women steer clear and most people would understand, but just because the person claims to be trans suddenly it's not okay for women to rely on their instincts.

The ones online seem obsessed with acting like a "proper women" and seem to root liking traditionally girly things as secretly meaning they are a transwoman, even if a bunch of them entirely miss the mark actually acting like one. I have no idea how they can champion things like "reject gender norms!!!" while also having the most strict views on what a man or woman can/can't like.

The funniest part about the JK Rowling thing is she isn't even technically a "radfem" (I think she described herself as a centrist or something in the past), she just followed a few Gender Criticals on Twitter (one being Fionne Orlander, who is...literally a transwoman??) and acknowledged the existence of biological sex in her manifesto. Not to mention Harry Potter already had a decent amount of "problematic aspects" in it like the Cho Chang character and how Dumbledore was handled (this is something I've read from fans, I was never invested in the series), but nobody cared until all this.

This is like the third time I've said this, but so many of these guys don't even finish Step One before diving right into the body altering chemicals! To be fair, I've seen some online gay discourse (including in, but not limited to, the old GenderCritical and LGBDropTheT subreddits no less) where people (mainly lesbians) will wallow in the idea that finding out a romantic interest is straight (or bisexual and enters a straight relationship after yours) is some very, very, special, significant kind of different pain from all the different kinds of rejection and romantic failure straight people experience.

It is different in some respects, lesbians hear a lot that they're just going through a phase and their orientation isn't real. It's true for a lot of women who experiment with women, since almost all women are at least a little bi, but for a woman who is actually exclusively interested in women, it's really unpleasant to be under this kind of constant pressure. So when they have a girlfriend that leaves for a man, it causes them to despair of ever finding a partner, especially if the bi girl strung them along beforehand.

Now all their spaces and dating apps are overrun by psychotic crossdressers so they're trapped between a rock and a hard place. Of course, the gender industry has a ready-made solution for them: troon out and become a man! It's the only way to be happy! Don't worry about the hysterectomy and rotting flesh tube dick.
