Ok you fucking degenerates, strap in. We're doing math.
Since Phil isn't gonna work today, I decided to do a deep dive on something I always wanted to look into, that is, the vest streak. 276 straight streams of "pahsitive contributions" that really helped our boy Phil out. A lot of us just default to the "$100 per stream for 276 streams". But how accurate is that really? Well, I did the research and the answer is "not at all accurate".
I'll attach the spreadsheet to this post but here's the breakdown. During those 276 streams Phil made $37,579. This does NOT account for anything "behind the scenes" or any tips that were off-stream after he turned off the stream for his YT audience. So this number is the bare minimum.
Of that 37 grand, $12,713.08 was from the top tip of each stream. That's 34%. Thirty four fucking percent from just one tip per stream. That's really bad boyos.
For the fees, I separated the top tip of each stream from the total tips, and then applied PayPal's 3% plus 30 cents to that transaction. For the remainder, I applied the highest discriminating factor I could find. By that, I mean for the "worst stream" Phil had during the vest streak, I took whatever the number of tips would HAVE to be so that the second highest tip would not supercede the top tip he had written down. That number was 15. Therefore the "remainder" amount was assessed a 4.50 fee (the 30 cent fee x 15 tips) as well as 3% of whatever the remainder was. This actually works in Phil's favor because I likely assessed him more fees on average than he was getting.
What number are we left with? Well, after all fees, Phil made $35,126.83 during the vest streak (before taxes). If we apply Phil's federal income tax bracket as well as his Washington state B&O tax, Phil made $26,295. Let that sink in. 26 grand and change in 276 streams. Now let's have some real fun.
276 streams for Phil is 138 working days at 6 hours of work a day (fuck Phil I'm not counting the pre-stream as work). That means Phil was making 190 bucks a day, or $31.75 an hour. That's AFTER taxes (which we know he won't pay anyway). As a yearly salary, that would be roughly 64 grand a year of take home money. If we factor in his average of $1,700 a month from bits, his average at the time of roughly $1500 a month from subs, his patreon at $300 a month, and YT at $750 a month (his own words), we're left with 138 days which is 4.5 months x ($1700 + $750 + $1500 + $300) = $19,125. After taxes? $14,316.
Finally, let's add that $14,316 to his $26,295 and we get $40,611. Now we take this stretch of time and apply it over a whole year and we get, drumroll, $107,416 (138/365 is .378, which means you multiply by 2.645 to get the yearly).
Phil was on fucking pace to make $107,416 after taxes in a year where he wiped out all of his credit card debt. All of it. Fucking Thanos snapped. I want the people who support him to hopefully see this message and take a good hard look at it the next time they think Phil is struggling to make ends meet. Think about how much food costs, or a mortgage, or a car payment. Shit, take 25% away for these mysterious fucking chargebacks and you're still left with 80 grand AFTER. FUCKING. TAXES. If you can look at these numbers, which are irrefutable by the way because math doesn't discriminate against pigs, roaches, or pigroaches, and you can still say that Phil is just a guy who is down on his luck, you just might be insane.
For Phil's piggie cultists, even when you factor in EVERY bill he could possibly have, there's still $40K unaccounted for and that's just from last year alone. Still think the WWE Champions shit is fake?
