I've said it before anytime we get Piggy out of the gaze of Twitch is like the famous conversation between Hitler and prime minister of Finland Mannerheim (because it was then that someone left the recording equipment on and got a good minutes of Hitler not in character and genuinely concerned for the future of the war), every soundbyte or text of him outside the shield of Twitch is worth it's weight in gold.

I guess DSP's gradual embracing of proactive SJW virtue signaling is as good a sign as any that this shit is now utterly bland mainstream. Well that and the radio reminding me 10x a day its (fill in the blank group) Month.

Man avoiding the social justice nonsense was one of rare few positive aspects of Phil. As much of a disgusting pig as he was in every imaginable way at least surfing dsp news was an escape of sorts from all the political stupidity. Now he's going to be even more insufferable than ever.

I was quite young when I was first introduced to professional wrasslin (had uncles who loved it) and I believed up until 99 when I was just straight up told the “storylines” were not fact. I don’t understand how someone, even someone as mentally stunted as Phil is believed to be could still think wrestling could be 100% real regarding the storylines by the time he was in his 20s. There’s no way he could have been watching the shit WWF was putting out in the mid 90s before the “Attitude Era” boom, that wacky bullshit and think that was real. For fucks sake they had a guy dress up in a hockey getup.

I was around for most of these Apex streams and, hoo boy was it a revelation on how much Phil is the worst streamer and a total social recluse.

His disgusting mannerisms are ABSOLUTELY INTENTIONAL and passive/aggressive just to punish and annoy his viewers (i leave that one to the guys in dspsych thread). NO snorts, sniffs and throatclearing while on stream with B and K. Whenever he has to interact with a live human he is totally capable to surpress these urges if he wants to.

Now why was his chat so fired up about Brian and Kekon? Are B and K the APEX (har har) of twitch streamers? Funnier than sips, more sexy than asian andy?
No, but they can TALK to each other and have banter - like people who play online games with each other. That's it. Must have been quite the culture shawk for his diehard fans of khawlity khantent and balls to the wall, hardcore commentary.
Phil has ZERO ability to be part of any conversation - every joke goes over his head (or he is so conditioned to micro-analyze any joke to make sure it's not abt him and if it is, to first make up some schoolyard comeback or over the top toxic insult, so that the time for a witty or funny reply has passed 5mins ago). He can not for his life play a game and speak at any "streamer" level - that's why his commentary consists of nothing but animal noises🐐 or describing was is happening on stream this EXACT moment. That's why he has to put down the controller and bring MY IMMERSION to a screeching halt whenever he has to imbue us with his fantastical insights. At any moment, he seems to be the guy who just busted into a group of people talking and blurts out "So what are you guys talking about?" like a retarded kid from a 90's sitcom.
He has no sense of tact, no feeling for the flow of a moment and no stories to tell, bc his life was nothing but ego driven so he has no sense of perspective other than himself - and that makes a poor conversation.

Wasn't there a video where Phil was sat with John Rambo on his couch discussing some wrestling fight, and John had to tell D.S.P. the bottle one of the wrestlers broke on the other wasn't real ? Had to be well after the 2000s - let alone 90s.

I guess he could have believed the stories were fake but the fights were real until then and the "It was in the 200-I mean 90s that I learned it was fake" isn't a retcon, but even then that's an astonishing amount of stupidity.

Yep I actually watched that Rambo interaction pretty recently. He's a fucking retard. Also, when that Hulk thing happened in 2000 Phil was 18, and in his own words that's the moment he truly knew it was fake. So, 18. This retard thought wrestling was real at 18, at least.
