I know this post was a few days ago, do you or anyone have any videos from Piggy's time playing Apex with Kekon or Brian? I'd really love to see it. I know i'm being lazy here and can look just wondering if anyone can narrow my search at the very least?

Note how he doesn't put anything in the description as regards Kekon or Brian. What a piece of shit.

Check out from 38:30

I'm going to spill my spaghetti and go full 4 puzzle pieces as to why Dave failed yet again and not everyone wants to read that wall of text so I'll spoiler it.

1. If Ichiban dies, it's instantly game over. Pretty bullshit, right? Well, thankfully Ichiban has a skill called something like "Hero's Determination", don't remember its exact name it's been almost 4 months since I beat the game and all the post-game content. It's a skill he learns if he levels up enough in the Hero class and it's an inheritable skill. What that means is that once Ichiban learns that skill by leveling up enough in the Hero class, if he switches classes he still has access to that skill, no matter what class he switches to.
What Hero's Determination does is it allows Ichiban to survive a lethal hit, once his health drops to zero he instaheals to I think 20% of his health and then loses the Hero's Determination status effect. It is INVALUABLE, especially in the final challenge dungeon where as you can see there's assholes who can just murder you in one hit. If he had more than 2 braincells to rub together, he would realize that the first thing you should do with Ichiban in EVERY SINGLE ENCOUNTER is cast Hero's Determination. Same goes for when he gets hit with a lethal blow and loses his status effect. It's the best skill in the game for survivability, bar none.

2. This retarrrrr... I shouldn't have said that... grinded the wrong way. What this moron did is get 2 jobs to level 99 for every character, this is wrong. You are supposed to first get everyone to level 30 in every job and then choose one job for every character that they'll take to the final dungeon, then grind it up to level 99. There's multiple reasons for that. First of all, if you remember in point 1. there are certain skills in every job that are inheritable and if you inherit all inheritable skills you will have access to every element for the guys, the girls are missing an electric-type attack, but instead they get an inheritable gun-type attack and gun-type attacks are really rare. Second of all, when you level up, you get stat boosts for that job only, however there are certain thresholds where you either get new skills or get permanent stat boosts for that character. The permanent stat boosts start having diminishing returns after a while and it's not worth leveling up that job up anymore unless you're planning to take that character in that job to the final dungeon. That threshold is, you guessed it, level 30. Last of all, it takes less time to get all jobs from level 1 to 30 than to take just one job from level 30 to 99, so it's more efficient timewise too.
To put things into perspective, when I 100% completed the game when it comes to Steam achievements, I was about 70 hours in. My Adachi had 2.4k max health points. Phil's didn't even have 2k.

3. I'm just gonna say it plainly - always have a girl in the Idol class in your active party. Always always always. Enemies in the final dungeon hit like trucks and the Idol has 2 skills which are godlike. One is a party heal that tops off everyone, regardless what their current HP is, the other is a full HP revive. Absolutely godlike skills. They also have a negative debuff and status effect clear but it doesn't clear every debuff or status effect, you're supposed to use Ichiban in the Hero class for that since he has a skill that clears every single negative status effect in the party. You're also regularly supposed to switch out party members. You always leave in Ichiban because you can't take him out and you always leave in Eri or Saeko (depending on which one you put in the Idol class), for everyone else you tailor your active party depending on what the enemies in the next encounter are weak to.

tl;dr
Ichi has a skill that lets him survive lethal hits, Dave grinded the wrong way and Dave's active party roster is bad.
Phil once again proves he sucks at video games.

You lot need to stop giving people like Anonymouse attention. He's another exceptional individual that has the classic battered wife syndrome.
It's always the same. Phil does something to hurt their wee feelings and they come over here acting as if they finally had enough. Yet really oddly they all bugger off before they do irreversible damage to their husband Phil.

As pathetic as it is, they actually believe Phil cares for them and/or is their friend.

View attachment 1990727

For real lads.

Unmet needs / Unresolved issues: They all want Phil's attention. Yet they know Phil is full of shit, but know they can't call him out on it.

Anxiety, insecurity, depression: Bloody Anonymouse gets drunk and b& from Twitch because he's a sad, lonely and pathetic cunt.

Seeking love as a solution: Seeking our Kiwi love as a solution for his unmet needs.

Finding temporary relief: We give it to him because we care and want to listen.

Pleasing and appeasing your partner: He fully shuts down on KF just to make Phil happy.

Partner is controlling or abusive: We all know and see Phil's cult controlling ways. Maybe one day my favourite anime streamer finishes the series.

You're angry, afraid and/or withdrawn: He stops posting because he's afraid he might lose Phil. As pathetic as that is.

He and/or you seek reconciliation: Anonymouse ran to Phil, or got that ever so rare Phil DM and stopped posting, to make it work again lads. They can do it.

Things get "back to normal": We wait for him to have his little moment again.

You can replace Anonymouse with any other mod, and this bloody template works. That's the great thing about having absolute social rejects as your fans and mods, they're too dumb to see they're part of a cult to make one guy successful only for themselves to fail.
Jezel is really the only one I can think of that never came back after hitting eject from that cult.
Top summarization of these clowns.
All of them are like they came directly from a Swagginz cloning facility.

About this whole Anonymouse thing I'm pretty much in agreement that noone should put that much stock into him having actually revealing anything, but the dynamic that is interesting now is there is a new level of paranoia that has been instilled into Phil, up until this point he was pretty much content that his mods even if they don't like him personally had some reason to keep things under wraps, whether it be they like the power, they paypigged to be mod so its too much investment (ala Swagginz) now he can't even fully assume that they can't just go rogue if they just get tired one day. Not to say it will actually bring anything of note to the table but it will bring even more golddust, I think things will get a little bit more entertaining now at the very least, just don't expect a series finale with a Mod finally deciding to bring the Pig down, that's unrealistic, we all know there is not going to be some dramatic, movie like downfall for Phil, it will just be a slow fade from existence and moving on thats all.

I was looking into it a little further, and some of the pieces were obvious (thanks to anonys post), but it also helps fill in some blanks.

On Tuesday night's stream, lonerboyz cheers and ask about anony being banned, and when does dsp think he can come back and continue modding. Lonerboyz is banned by a mod (before phil even sees the cheer).

View attachment 1991280
This proves (again) that DSP is giving orders in the mod discord (just like he did about sidella and rumple), to ban any mention of anony. Why? I have no idea. Maybe because it can be misconstrued as detractor nonsense, or maybe so the "dumb fuck trolls" cant speculate and make up rumors. Its extremely odd that he would be that paranoid about it though, especially since it doesnt really affect him. Phil comes back to his chair, and reads off the cheer and says word for word "Alright Lonerboyz, I have no idea. I'm not gonna answer you."

This upsets Anony,
View attachment 1991290

To be fair, it's kinda hard to say what lonerboyz was banned for, since he called DSP by his last name and added "boy" to it in a patronizing way. I can imagine that heavily pignotized mods like eternal_napalm and Kinggoken ban someone like that without even thinking about it.

Potentially.. Until you combine it with phils answer and reaction. Why are we avoiding this subject? He had just read a previous cheer from lonerboyz a few mins earlier.

Edit: And if anony is to be believed, phil knew exactly why he was banned, when he's eligible to return, and what direction to point people.

1) I love that the idol class is so important.
2) I love that DSP fucked himself by being a lazy prick like always.

"It's not true! It's all fabricated circumstantial shit!"

What does this assclown think circumstantial means? A fingerprint at a crime scene is an example of circumstantial evidence. The more he talks the deeper the hole gets.

I'd like to touch on this a bit, to what is most definitely an embarrassingly sperg-y level.

DSP, despite his constant declarations of things being illegal, knows basically nothing about the law except what he's probably seen on NCIS.

Circumstantial evidence can and has been used to convict. In fact, "[...] there is no a priori reason to classify circumstantial evidence as probatively inferior, or to suspect that it leads to less accurate outcomes than direct evidence. On the contrary, some studies have demonstrated that certain kinds of circumstantial evidence are more accurate—and therefore lead to fewer wrongful convictions— than direct evidence."[1] Circumstantial evidence is also the evidence that the public generally thinks of when they think of convictable evidence. Fingerprints, video, audio, motive establishing evidence, and fucking DNA can all be circumstantial evidence. Not only have there been dozens of high profile cases based largely (or solely) on circumstantial evidence, if, for example, a body is never found in a murder case, it can only be circumstantial evidence.

To go back to the assertion that direct evidence can often be less accurate than circumstantial: "The effort to combat wrongful convictions must therefore shift focus to the inherent flaws of direct forms of evidence—such as eyewitness misidentification and false confessions. It is there, rather than with circumstantial evidence, that jurors’ intuitions tend to lead them astray."[1]

If this were an actual court, Mr. "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" DSP would almost certainly have been found guilty.

(srry only 1 source because I'm lazy)

EDIT: also I'm not a lawyer and never went to law school bc I'm not a masochist so any actual lawyers feel free to comment + critique

Edit: And if anony is to be believed, phil knew exactly why he was banned, when he's eligible to return, and what direction to point people.

Not to defend Phil but I mean whats he supposed to do? Link a shitty youtube video about being cancelled and trans people on twitch?

He's trying to not get banned himself.

He knew the ban wasn't permanent and I thought "taking a vacation" was universally accepted as a way of saying they got a temp ban. Sounds more like anony had some drunken knee jerk reaction tbh.
Just ban Phil's retards, coomers, and speds the second they show up here. They want attention like phil wants tips
That's a quick way to becoming a circle jerk echo chamber. And we lose out on newfriends to the forum some of which become kinda funny with a redemption arc like BSV

I agree that he's in somewhat of a tough spot there, although, if we're being honest (and he isnt), he coulda just said "anony got banned for saying something stupid". How fucking hard is that? When you combine the insta ban (by a mod), phils reaction to the question, anonys post here on KF, it starts to add up to "we dont talk about it publicly so the trolls dont know how broken paypals system is". Now thats about the rumple chargebacks, but it fits this exact situation as well.

A couple of weeks ago someone cheered with the "Tears in rain" speech from Blade Runner, and Phil had no idea what it was. "What the fuck are you talking about? Ohhh apparently that's some shit from Blade Runner? I wouldn't know, I haven't seen it."

I was shocked. How does a 38-year-old man who likes science fiction not know the "tears in rain" speech from Blade Runner?

(As an aside: I was also a little disappointed in An1337, whose illegal restream I was watching at the time. He didn't know it was the "tears in rain" speech either. An1337 irritates me sometimes in the way he verbally mocks DSP whilst sometimes not being any smarter. That's the trick -- you've got to be above DSP in order to mock him. There are too many times when An1337 is like: "Yeah, uhh, well, I didn't know that either... but still, fuck Phil.")
To be fair, you would be surprised how many people aren't familiar with blade runner references. Some of the local soylents in my neck of the woods haven't even seen the movie. They're very similar to phil, giant manbabies that only know capeshit.

(I'm not implying An1337 is a soylent or manbaby, its just that blade runner is still considered niche in most social circles.)

This. We don't ban cows around here even if they're orbiters, that's how we get more laughs. The most entertaining moments from many of the other threads are when the cow's supporters show up to give us what for and they're met with insults and encouragement to sudoku. God, I wish every one of Phil's mods would make accounts but Anony seems to be the only one intelligent enough to pass the captcha.

Check out from 38:30

I'd advise to check from a little bit before, 36:30 shows the whole fight in all it's glory. We haven't even talked about how scummy Phil's slick maneuvers around Yackooza have been. First he says he's gonna do the superboss dungeon. (Funny that we had been throwing around the term superboss around some Games threads here.) Then he grinds for a month and a half in chill streams, when he could instead be getting his ass kicked in CoD or whatever for his viewers' amusement.

This is a good show that Phil's all sideshow and no meat these days. He's not even that guy who rages at vidya anymore because he completely stonewalls any chance. It's all kiddy games and easy modes now. Thank fuck for Ghosts N Ghablins and Divinity. Anyway, back on track-
Phil walks into the super dungeon. Literally WALKS. His stalling is reaching levels unheard of where he just actually moves as slowly as possible in game. I'll recap only the fight where he gets owned. His party, which we'll dub "I'M MARRIED, STOOPID" is composed of Ichiban, Adachi, Nanba and Joon-Gi Han. So out of three possible choices, two are pretty bad. Their jobs are Hero, Enforcer, Homeless Guy and Host. Why Phil's had a massive hard-on for the Host job all game through I will never understand. It's not even particularly good, but he always had to have a handsome guy in a shiny suit serving drinks and being charming. Phil still obstinately refuses to have an Idol healer or a Musician buffer on call when most strategies rely on at least one of these classes to some extent.

Phil goes up a floor and confronts the first group of enemies in it. Two guys, a barbarian looking one and a scientist. Joon-Gi gets a turn and uses Fulminating Forecast, one of the best moves in the game that Phil has made a point of giving to EVERYONE, just in case you doubted his dilligent guide reading. Grand Slammer enemy gets a turn, but is paralyzed. Mister Six enemy gets a turn and buffs the enemy party's attack. This should spell bad news for any savvy player. Time to get a debuff or an defense buff out, or to put up Peerless Resolve just in case. No such luck.

Phil seems to be trying to focus the barbarian dude down first, since he's weak to electricity and he's using electric attacks on him. Any kid could tell you that Barbarians are usually tanks with fair damage while Scientists in RPGs tend to be squishy engines of destruction who should go down first in almost any situation. Here's the lock where Phil's retarded tactics fuck him over: Ichiban gets a turn. Rather than using a Kiwami action on the scientist to nuke him before he gets a turn, or using peerless resolve to make sure even if he does it won't be game over, he uses Ultimate Stack Slap, a pretty good attack on him, and misses. Phil is "Upset already." Nanba's turn, Pigeon Migration hits Mister Six for good damage. Joon-Gi's turn, Phil's wetbrain can't figure out anything better than "Fulminating forecast again, doiiiiii" (Paraphrasing) so we're going with that. Joon-Gi has access to all types of physical damage from his Assassin job, and he also has some CC effects that he could put on the scientist to ensure he's in check. None of that funky bizwhacks. Adachi gets a turn next, essence of hell's wheel on the Mister Six. Good call. Too little, too late. The full enemy team is buffed, rowdy, and rearing to go, and in spite of Phil's pigroach luck holding out and saving him from Grand Slammer Saito caving Ichiban's face in in one mighty swing, after getting out of his paralysis, that held for two turns, Mister Six casts a party-wide sleep, getting everyone but Ichiban down, and kicks him in the ass. Phil fails to Perfect Guard the first attack and succeeds with the second. He's still well dead.

Here's where Phil puffing his chest about how good he is at JRPGs, how he loves them, and how a gamer of lesser caliber than himself might find Yakuza 7 quite challenging if it's their first JRPG comes back into play. The retarrrr can't figure out that in bonus dungeons or superbosses if you give them a full, unhampered, buffed turn and you don't do SOMETHING to prevent your death, even something as simple as casting auto-res on everyone possible, you're usually gonna die. Phil lays on his back and offers the belly immediately. He is completely defeated. He doesn't even KNOW where to begin to strategize his way around this. Just for the general knowledge: Phil has TWO jobs maxed out on each character. The bonus Millenium Tower has been completed with ONE maxed out job. He's got twice the bare minimum tools needed to beat this.

He can't. He doesn't know how. He'd have to grind, he thinks, for another whole month just to have a shot at it. This can not be. He needs his buff numbers to be able to put his head down and pigdoze through enemies mindlessly spamming attacks like every other dungeon in the game. Even if you're letting them buff themselves, not buffing yourself, and making yourself an open wide target. Actually strategizing and figuring out a way is a preposterous notion. Give it another shot, maybe use a girl? Can't do it. Nope. No no no. We're gonna go have a chill stream grinding in the usual dungeon, you guys. Tell me if you want me to send this game to the shadow realm. No, we're also not changing games.

"Is this even attainable without grinding?" "I don't think this is attainable without maxing... 4 jobs!" "Use peerless resolve with Ka-sooo-gaaah every turn? Then he can never attack! Right?" -Leans in to take care of trolls, runs to follower only mode- "Ladies and gentlemen, we've established it! I can't make any progress in the super dungeon! We only have two options: Either we quit completely, we say fuck it! Or! We grind more! Those are really the only two options we have!"

Yup. Again, don't tag Saeko in as an idol, Kat might get angry or something. Don't try different strategies or have Ichiban using Peerless Resolve. Fuck that shit, fuck this game, thanks for all the money you stupid empty-headed dummies, etc etc etc. Boy, it must feel great for the whales who saved Yakuza from the chahpping block all those times Phil threatened to send it away, be forced through a month of chill grinding to get to see ONE enemy spank Phil's bacon and he immediately gives up. Talk about an anti-climax. We haven't lost a month grinding like idiots just to give up on the super dungeon immediately, btw, because Phil enjoyed the chill streams. So there, debunked. Trolls lose again!

EDITS: Spoilers and things.
EDIT 2: @Pretty Boy Extremism's analysis is a lot more informed than mine and I got ninja'd, curse writing posts over an hour while you do other shit, -Kekon scream- -Alalalalalaaaaa-

Hey man, your play-by-play analysis of the fight where he got destroyed in one hit which makes it laughable how Phil can ever claim he's good at JRPGs was very well written. The only thing I could nitpick is when you said that Host isn't that good of a class, it is for Nanba since it focuses on elemental magic damage, and if you prepare properly and inherit Fulmigating Forecast from Fortune Teller Nanba gets access to powerful highly damaging attacks from all 3 elements in the game.
