My, if this is not the Westerners posting and reposting uninformed, oligophrenic, ‘leftist’ takes on Eastern Europe again. I checked out the guy who made the thread, and his ideas about Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia are entirely as expected.
‘Why is this Belarusian foundation silent about human rights abuses in Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Israel? Suspicious.’ I wonder how he even stumbled upon this foundation, as it is not widely known even in Belarus.
Just googling ‘Pablo Hasel’ yields countless reports on the kerfuffle in mainstream publications, from American CNN to German Deutsche Welle. The Washington Post and Time ran stories on it. People did not discuss it much because, firstly, it is boring in comparison to the Navalny affair, secondly, fewer people care about Spain compared to Russia.
‘Imperialist powers’ does not include Russia and China, apparently. ‘“Irredentism”? What’s that? Nah, that’s just unrecognised countries declaring independence as the result of imperialist domination in the region in my book.’

There are two that have been hovering over my head in the last couple of months. A non binary hon called Curio and a woman (actual woman): Cass Eris; cognitive psychologists Ph.D, if she is to be trusted. She has been making videos "debunking" the problem of children transitioning, and shitting on a right-wing lolcow: Jordan Peterson. How original...
What strikes me about these two is that they appear to have started their channels by shilling them in the breadtube subreddit. They know they are copycats, but they do not care. What is also creepy about these people is how invested they are in creating parasocial relationships with their followers. They are narcissistic to a fault. Cass... Cass started her video on Peterson by criticizing clinical psychologists. She states that she didn't want to make a video on that because she had acquaintances who were clinical psychologists, but that they turned out to be terrible manipulative people, so she no longer gives a fuck. I'm paraphrasing, but she pretty much said that. Given that she is supposed to be a "scientist", and that she has shown so much spite for people in the field due to some random, completely irrelevant to her viewers, reason makes me believe that, if she manages to grow her viewer base (I doubt it) she'll make a cow of herself. It doesn't help that she has been very open about having BPD and god knows how many mental illnesses.
Curio, on the other hand, is infamous on spinster and other TERF spaces. I can't find it right now, but there is a screenshot from twitter, if memory serves, in which he flaunts a bottle of estrogen pills, to which he refers as "bimbo pills" or something like that. Boasting triumphantly about how the taxpayers have to pay for it.
These people are overeducated. I'm not saying that they are smart, but their behavior and ideas seem to be perfectly acceptable in academia, which truly terrifies me. I'm afraid that breadtube, as we have discussed in previous pages, will collapse, but a lot of it's influence in the zeitgeist will endure. I'm afraid they have won, to some extent, just like the new atheists did ten years ago. A lot of these young academics are getting into the bandwagon, even when they have zero charisma: this position has become so mainstream, so easy to deffend, that everybody with some spare time is jumping on it for that sweet attention. Again, this parallels the atheists movement in almost every way; by the end complete randos with no personality where posting videos on atheists groups, on facebook and on the forums. Now, as we see, atheism is kind of the norm. Is the rise and fall of breadtube an epilogue to an era in which all this gender dogma is obiquitous as skepticism towards orginized religion has been in the last decade?
Anyway, enough with the rambling. I'll leave two of their videos so that you can see our future overlords in their full glory. The future is nonbinary, has BPD and uses their Ph.D education to write posts on reddit and make videos on youtube, how lovely.
