Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

They literally did this with McCain when he went full-retard and it played out EXACTLY the way you're saying.

I'd bet they have the paperwork already drawn up, signed, and ready to 25th him out once he publicly blows his cover, but they're drawing this out as long as possible.

Right now, everyone in the White House is a die-hard party loyalist or an "I serve the office, not the person in it" G-Man sworn to secrecy, so EVERYTHING is hush-hush. But that won't last forever.

People will get disillusioned with the party, upset that they didn't get credit/promotions, get comfortable and start gossiping. Eventually stuff is gonna get out. And it's going to be glorious.

I wasn't even particularly thinking about him but in hindsight I guess you're right. It's a fairly logical way to shield someone from all criticism, the same way the How Dare You Goblin can't ever be held up to scrutiny because she's a poor defenceless eighteen year old preschooler.

I think the plan is to see him last past the mid-terms, that way Kamala - who will do anything vested interests want and then ask for more - isn't going to cost them too many votes and she can get her 2.5 terms as president. If Biden gets really, really bad though, they'll have to abandon that. I believe it's the plan, though. Might even be able to use him to get some of least popular stuff through early on and keep Kamala's hands "clean".

I tell you this though, I would love to be there for some of Biden's meetings with other world leaders.

The way Bobbo has run didney and everything they bought into the fucking ground makes me worry more than if Biden had perpetual power over america's presidency. Imagine disney doing what they did to star wars to america. On the other hand, first mc-government gives me hope for a possible Ronald Mcdonald presidency and a new golden age of subsidized chickie nuggies.

They leaned right into "blue no matter who" to justify voting for an obviously senile man, purely to oust the anooying orange, then acted as if they had no choice.

Problem is, they did.

Biden's mental decline was already obvious in the democrat primary debates. Hell, he had that eyeball haemorrhage live on air, showed signs of at least one ischemic attack that I recall, and immediately took a turn for the worse in subsequent debates, and they still chose him. They tried to meme it into being a sign of how badass he was. Oh he's so mad about injustice, his eyes bleed! They had any number of candidates available to them, even some who would have guaranteed a win against Trump without any shenanigans, but they picked Biden. Nobody raised a fuss when that fix was in. They didn't demand recounts, they didn't complain. They either took part willingly in the process to lumber them with a pants-shitting, brain-dead idiot who they all despised, or they sat back and let it happen.

If any of these biden votes tells you they had no choice, spit on them and call them elder abusers. They had a choice before the election, they just don't want to admit they made the wrong one.
