I think someone previously pointed out that if Jim is going through chemo, or some form of cancer treatment, his voice would probably be effected. Raspy voice is a common side effect.

It seemed kind of weird for Jim to leave streaming but stick around for tweets.
If Jim's dox really bothered him why not just go radio silent?

Because it keeps his paypigs happy and they will still give him money. All they need to know is that Daddy Jim is alive. They want videos, but a tweet every once in a while when he says he's sick, is enough to satisfy them. If he just wanted to get off the internet all together he would just tell everyone he was retiring and stop tweeting.

Jim's current situation is interesting, and I think how you see it is different depending on if you think he's being honest about the canceraids or not.

If he's not lying, and he really does have canceraids, it's understandable that he'd still want money from patreon or teespring or whatever, anybody giving him money at this point probably isn't doing it for the content and just because they want him to have some extra money for medical bills. Although it's sad that he hasn't been able to fulfill his own wishes for making more content, I think it's safe to say he's done his best up until the cancer has gotten worse.

On the other hand, if he doesn't have canceraids, he's completely deserving of ridicule and hatred, cuz he's grifting on twitter and seeming like he's just abandoned his content in favor of sitting on his fat bum doing nothing but reading manga and being a blue check mark without being a blue check mark. And his merch and patreon are just there for him to keep making money for himself while he never makes content ever again.

I can see why a lot of people feel abandoned by him— me personally, I still think the canceraids is real, especially considering how much detail he's gone into about it, but either way I can see why people don't like him anymore especially since internet information is so hard to rely on. It's basically Schrödinger's grifter.

What I think happened is he got bigger and more attention than he liked.
Jim was at his best when he was fucking with people like Ross and obscure tumblr fetish advocates. Shit he can no longer do because he has built a fanbase of obnoxious retards. Even now anytime he tries prodding anyone on twitter it becomes a shitshow when his fans inevitably join in.
I think he really wants to drop the metokur alias and start up again but at the same time the metokur alias is far too valuable to just drop. At the same time I think he has grown to resent a large portion of his current fanbase which is why he feels no remorse for taking them for a ride. He often use to talk about how attacking your fanbase is the worst thing you can do as a creator, which is why he will never specify why he won't stream anymore. If his army of useful idiots want throw money at him for doing nothing, it is no sweat off his back. Whether or not the canceraids is real doesn't matter. It's a conveniant excuse either way.

Sad but true. I believe Jim's early 2020 WuFlu doomposting was in fact his last hurrah and swan song. During the summer 2020 chimpouts, he was active on Twitter but didn't do any streams nor videos -- and the election, Hunter Biden's crack pipe, and the January 6th Capitol Hill storming would have given him plenty of incentive to stream and endless fodder to work with. If those aforementioned things didn't make him crawl out of his shell, Kero's return probably won't either*.

*Some opponents may argue that it's because the BLM riots and the election were such hot-button issues that would have no doubt resulted in demonetization and channel strikes, but at least he could have gone out with a bang. Besides, he could still stream elsewhere if need be, not just Youtube specifically. Ralph still had a platform for the KillStream, to Jim could have definitely streamed outside of Youtube to discuss BLM and Biden's fuckery.

Just saw Jim coment on an archive video of one of his early stuff where he complains about people having too big of an ego and relies on fans for money and clout and how he feels he's become that. Its sad.
