this post so much this! Man it makes me feel bad for any time in the past ive gone into Phils chat. My views are the same tho, if you are in Phils chat you are bringing him attention. Not only that but if a sub bomb happens and you are there thats money going in phils hands because you got a sub. If no one was in his chat he'd lost hundreds upon hundreds of subs not only from there being no one in chat to gift a sub to but also Phil out right couldn't justify a sub goal with less than a hundred or 2 in his chat each day. I hope your post makes more people wake up about lurking on his twitch channel.

The arrogance of him in this is the worst of it, he literally hasn't changed from his 2009 self in that regard. The "I could do this if I wanted to!" mentality - but the arrogance doesn't even end there, he needs you to know that he's a better person than them because he isn't like them.

Ironically, DSP is right. He isn't like them. They are successful.

Which is why not only is DSP arrogant, but you can hear the anger and jealousy coming out of his mouth. Because they don't have to beg for their money, but he does.

In regards to the twitch subs for Phil you can be sitting in the chat actively chatting and still not get a sub, its odd but it does work that way sometimes. Anyway the whales tend to just sub any old person, alot of the time they aren't even in the chat when its just random names.

Not saying the money from regulars chatters or even lurkers don't get to Phil but the whales even if the chat was dead would just sub randoms since it happens already, literally the bulk of the subs every time are those.

Obviously you aren't serious gamers, knowing how complex the pushing and pulling mechanics of each Fall Guy are and the physics system that DSP has had to meticulously master! Anyone can just jump in and get headshots and whatnot in Fortnite you don't even need to be able to see above the computer desk just have a pulse like a child and you will be on the leaderboards in no time it's almost like a participation trophy. You need to work 12 hours a day like DSP to deserve money for gaming or else you're not even furthering the media like Phil pioneering awesome things like Let's Play and Tips Goals. It's not about the money anyway, he just loves what he does, Ninja only plays videogames because he picked up a controller and they handed him a million dollars and a contract and hundreds of thousands of viewers because everyone knows Twitch only cares about ethots.

But as far as CoD goes that became the built-in excuse back then, it was an easy scapegoat. Why is everything that goes wrong lag? Does he know that lag isn't a one way street? Unless he's only playing with people on the West coast or hosting lan parties, he's going to have to deal with people lagging, and him lagging on their end. If dedicated servers and server browser don't exist, you're just going to have to deal with more serious bouts of lag in some capacity, period.

A reminder for DSP when he reads this: Ninja was a professional Halo 3 player. You know, Halo 3, the game DSP has talked about being great at, Ninja was playing professionally.

What I find fascinating about Phil is how hes managed to stay this way for years without hitting a wall, maybe his parents babied him ALOT, but how the fuck did he get away with being an arrogant shit in school with other kids, or just life in general? I know he hides in the house to avoid his reality being shattered but how has he avoided up until then?
