This brings up an interesting question, which of the hologirls do you think are actual exclusive lesbians, and which of them are LUGs (lesbians until [hololive] graduation)?

I would say matsuri seems like she's genuinely into women and not at all into men, and the noel/flare thing seems to have gone a bit far for a joke or a performance bit. Ui-mama seems like a lesbian without a culturally appropriate way to express her sexuality. The rest seem like a mix of "not a particularly romantic or sexual person" and/or "going along with the yuri bait atmosphere"

That's how you develop an ear for foreign words & sentences and get that shit hardwired into your brain.

That would be the most effective method, sure. But it was also be downright painful to watch. Actual language learning can be fun but for streaming purposes it would be like pulling teeth. A real teacher-student dynamic would come across as condescending (in a non-joking manner) and mind-numbing (Gura would have to really break sentences down and that would take ages in stream-time).

And I'm not surprised about Calli's viewerbase. She is an obvious southron (which is where most US military recruitment comes from) and she's very much the sort of girl you can still stomach after undergoing US military socialization (aloof and kind of socially awkward in an endearing way).

With how vaccinations are moving along in the US I honestly don't think we'll have to wait very long for them to be able to travel to Japan. But sadly it's probably going to take Japan longer to lax their border than the girls to get vaccinated. Personally, I think with maybe the exception of Kiara since EU Vaccination is moving at a crawling pace, they'd be able to travel to Japan

I'll grant that English spelling is pretty fucked in a lot of ways but the grammar is stupidly simple compared to most other European languages. I can only pray that any holos seriously trying to learn the language opt to ignore advice from the peanut gallery.

As someone who's learning english my whole life, english is the easiest language I've encountered. The only difficulty is the almost constant inconsistency in pronunciation. For fuck sake, even french has consistent pronunciation
