I dunno what this Palmer Report is, but what rock have they been living under? The kids in cages narrative popped up within Trump's presidency but they've been in those cages since Obeme. CNN and all the other MSM outlets have been screaming about it for years now like nonstop. Hell, the only reason they're talking about it now is cause it's just that bad right now cause people are swarming the border now that Biden is in. Its such a weak and lazy argument.
Also I find it worrying that people are happy that they're becoming sheep yet again, content to live in complete ignorance that their country is crumbling before them. Guess they'll feel it the hardest once the rug gets pulled under them and they realize how bad it really is.

The fucking filibuster crisis created by McConnell, and he's trying to say they'll go scorched earth. You know what, prove it. If you had senators really drawing the shit out and talking non stop and then allowing other senators to tag in for them, and doing a complete slowdown to everything, I'd double my respect of the senate to 2%.
Even if they pass HR1 I think if it's passed by 51 votes it makes it easier to be struck even before November '22, because even the fags on SCOTUS will see their days are numbered if they let it stand and by striking it they can make sure there's a strong chance republicans retake the house and senate and be a hard check against Biden for two more years. And now every democrat would be the 51st vote and there's plenty of democrats who are on record saying the filibuster is a tradition to hang around their neck for election time. Make no mistake they will use it to pass all manner of shit but all it does is reemphasize Trump was right again and all those RINO never Trumpers will lose another excuse of "returning to normal" with Trump gone.

Talked with a family member recently who just votes and goes along with whatever the people around her says (those people being liberals). She had no idea what "woke" was or that the trannies are trying to chemically castrate kids (she was horrified by that), etc.
People like her LOVE their bubble of ignorance because they just want to get on with their lives and work, not wanting nor feel the need to know. They want to stay out of politics and controversy because it "doesn't involve them". I once lived in this bubble as well, staying out of everything when I could.
Then Weeb Wars happened and the bubble was thankfully popped.
My point is that they don't realize that they CAN'T live like that; sure, it's easier, but eventually life is going to smack them in the face with facts and they will be put into a position where they will have to make a decision: pull that blanket over their heads and block out the world or face the truth no matter how much it hurts (or horrifies) to see and hear.

Honestly I don't really blame people for not wanting to be politically informed. There's enough bullshit really in daily life and adding politics in the mix is just an extra helping of bullshit most people can't deal with. What I don't get is the people who revel in their ignorance, who think that it's a good thing that the most powerful man in the world is an empty suit that's just around for photo ops and the occasional speech. That should scare people, not provide them with comfort. It really is a mad world out there.
