I feel like I'm missing something. What, exactly, does Wedge need long term care for? Being deaf (which he isn't) wouldn't qualify you for that since you can still take care of yourself even if you can't hear anything. Being autistic wouldn't qualify either unless you are severely autistic, which he isn't. Long term care services are for people that need assistance doing basic everyday tasks due to severe illness, advanced age, or a serious physical disability.

I've known people physically disabled get denied and have to hire an attorney to get disability. So obviously, they were super strict to weed out the fakers, right?

I think the urethra is left a separate hole but god knows it'd just scar over, the people who become "nullos" as far as I know have catheters shoved up it for weeks to prevent that from happening.
