Not until just now, but my personal take is that seriously I doubt any women were 'converted' to lesbianism.

A woman who got into the movement and realized she wanted to spend the rest of her life in a romantic/sexual relationship with another woman was a bisexual or a lesbian to begin with. A straight woman probably just didn't like college dudes, had some awkward sexual encounters with women, and eventually went back to dating guys post-college.

Yeah I think it was mostly bi women who became political lesbians for the long run. A lot of young people will “have a go” at something they don’t instinctively want, especially at University/College. Can you imagine what they’ll be pressured to “give a go” now though? Deep shudders. Troon dicks everywhere I bet.

Honestly even if I found a trans person attractive I wouldn't want to date them. That disturbed sense of identity is just not appealing to me. I've been with someone with gender dysphoria and that shit can cast a terrible shadow over your relationship.

People like Bill always talk about it in superficial terms as if looks or body parts are the sticking point when really the least appealing part to me is the mentality behind it. It's just an insurmountable difference in beliefs. Men can't be women, women can't be men and gender is boring and people who obsess over it are annoying.

But then I'm sure he'd accuse me of being ableist for not wanting to get wrapped up with someone with an untreated mental illness.
