Ok, guys, here is a little riddle for you. As you may know, Alex didn't just posted about his doll on the dollforum, but also on Fakku. That topic is still there, but I tried to find something else, namely his comments and since it's a site dedicated to hentai manga... Yeah, you get the idea, but here is something strange - Alex's profile says that he has 116 comments. You can see all the user's comments, if you add "/comments" to the profile URL, at least it worked with other five random users, but with Alex you get "This user has not made any comments". You can also just google someone's comments with "Fakku username comments", but as you may expect, it gives nothing too. Does it mean that he manually deleted 116 of his own comments?

He doesn't give a shit, at least that's what I take from asking two times "has he mentioned it again since that one video" and getting no answer, even though in that same video he said that he misses doing contests (he missed deadlines in them too, by the way) and he was excited when "Medibang approached him" (yeah, right, it couldn't be any other way).

You don't get why this contest even exists, do you? Alex doesn't want more art, Alex wants his game to be somewhat popular again, by doing contest among his fans he would achieve nothing. A Yandere game would be completely possible, yes. A yandere sim game even. My conclusion from the shitshow that was the yandere clone wars: if you’re going to make a yandere sim game don’t do it to one up Alex, don’t do it to put your tumblr OC in a game, don’t do it to turn a profit, and for the love of god, do not publicize it. Almost all of the projects features in that thread came to our attention that way. And pretty much all of them were basing the foundation on Alex’s concept with little or no changes. If there are Yandere sim games being made, my guess is they are being made under the radar and quietly as skill building tools. And then tossed aside to never see the light of day. I’m still waiting for Game Sleuth’s Walmart Shooter Simulator that he promised work would begin in September of 2020.

Yeah, winning isn't really the right term. Longevity captures what I meant far more effectively.
Its probably just my own bias, but the cows I've seen always outlast their detractors, and this is especially true with YanDev. Tons of information has been exposed about him, over a dozen clone games have been made, and not too long ago he had a mod exodus, and yet right now he seems generally unphased by it. Of course he's lost some money and the image tained a bit more, but I'd more strongly attribute that to how long he's taking rather than the scummy shit he's done.

When he talked about offing himself after Hate n Shame his kindergartners then shat comment section of every video critical about him, but two years later he talks about Love Letter and "RIP Yanderedev" is trending on Twitter. Every shitty youtuber and their mother made a video about him, and I even remember some links to russian sites, where articles about him being an asshole were posted.
