Maybe that's why most future-esque dystopian worlds and the cyberpunk genre have Japan as one of the worlds most powerful nations while America is always a collapsed shithole.
They didn't allow identity politics to destroy their society.
A collapsed japan is far more likely though. They have an incredibly aged population with a positively islamic attitude towards investing in the stock market. Their population and their economic power are set to dwindle further and further unless they open up to more immigration.
On the other hand the sheer amount of immigration to the US keeps the median age down (the median age in the US is actually lower than in China), which is a key indicator for future economic growth.

At this point, I can no longer tell which side is fucking with the other.
Also, I like Kitakoji’s new outfit a lot, makes her look like a character out of Hyperdimension Neptunia or something. But her still having the saw teeth is still freaky.
If you think about it, its kind of a fun way to learn english, constantly being presented with ridiculous suppositions by chat, and having to respond to them so that chat figures out a new angle. It means she keeps hearing new words and phrases instead of just "hi red pikamee" over and over again.
Tomoshika's war on superchats:
- Today is not her birthday
- You are not a time traveller from her birthday
- She does not need money
- She does not need money for bread
- When she mentions bread she isn't using it as a slang term for money
- The same applies to bacon
- It is not Christmas
- It is not Christmas in Florida
- She is however, Gendo from Evangelion
We've been promoted to 19 year olds recently, actually.
The weirdest/best part is that she's somehow still growing. She revealed she went up a cup and is now an L (K cup in english metrics)
As erotic as that seems, I hope she doesn't have one of those conditions where her breasts just keep growing and growing to the point where it requires surgery. I would also be curious if this puts her at a greater risk of breast cancer because of the sheer amount of breast tissue and its unusual metabolic activity.
