Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

With biden win we close the book on Jeffery Epstein Case :story:

Word is that Vietnam was feeling around at least the Trump administration about buying weapons, at least what I've heard. They really don't have a grudge against the US and they do really hate China. Strategically it completes the "wall" against the Chinese in the South China Sea and would piss them off something fierce. I don't know that SK and Japan would stick their necks out for Taiwan.
From my understanding of Vietnamese history, China has been trying to invade them for centuries (They fought a war a few decades ago that was forced into a ceasefire, so much for ideological allies). Apparently Ho Chi Minh actually loved the US but Truman Doctrine fucked over any relations between the US and his Vietnamese state.
Abe wanted to tweak the constitution to allow a more active role, but it never actually happened. No one really believes Japan's line about the Izumos not being carriers or at least not being built with conversion to carrier in mind, but constitutionally they can't be carriers. Hence Multi-Purpose Operation Destroyers. That are being converted to operate F-35Bs. You know, just in case one has to land somewhere. Totally not carriers.
I doubt even the most pacifist Japanese person would protest a partial remilitarization if China starts showing it's expansionist aims. Japanese politics are weird wear most of the leadership is descended from WW2 era politicians, Abe's brother who was adopted by his uncle, Kishi, is slated to be a future PM. Kishi is the model for pretty much every Asian economy and a war criminal the US put in charge of Japan in the 50s.
Everyone who borders China usually hates them. They've never been good neighbors, it's just that usually they destroy themselves on a semi-regular basis. They're about due for another round of civil war, mass death, and cannibalism.
I am glad China I s currently a paper tiger. We always talk about how likely to collapse North Korea is but China is North Korea on a far larger scale. Once their groundwater vanishes they won't be able to function long term.

He did. He asked us to step in and get France to leave them post WWII, but he wouldn't. Ho Chi Minh originally made his push at Versailles just effectively wanting the French to extend the rights of French citizens to the Vietnamese. The Brits and French basically laughed at him and then proceeded to lay the ground work of most of the major conflicts of the 20th Century.

The Japanese public might. Jokes aside, we really did nuke the militarism out of the Japanese pretty hard.

I don't know if I'd call them a paper tiger, but they're a regional power. If you're the neighbor they can throw endless hordes of screaming chinamen at you, but they have no real way to project power. Economic warfare works for them, mainly because it's their only real tool. They're one badly constructed dam away from ending themselves and wrecking the world economy.

You've got to be shitting me. Flags at half-staff for women who worked at a massage parlor? Jesus. And WWII vets, dying by the hundreds daily, are forgotten by the Biden regime. I'm not entertained at all. Enough to puke a dog off a gut wagon. Mercifully, there are still millions and millions of Americans who shall never buy into the Biden regime's America-hating bullshit.

No joke. Here's the proclamation (archive). And because I don't like euphemisms, even if they're widely understood, these aren't the kind of massage parlors you visit because you've been working in the warehouse all day and your feet and back are killing you. These are the kinds of massage parlors you visit to get your cock massaged. They were very highly reviewed on rubmaps.ch. (You have to join to read the reviews, I didn't bother archiving.) So we are lowering our flags for criminals who were killed during the operation of their illegal enterprise. Maybe they're trafficking victims and they are completely innocent, but it's almost inconceivable a legal adult immigrant could be coerced into giving bored handjobs for $30/hour + tip if they didn't want to. And it still wouldn't be noteworthy enough for national mourning. The only reason the administration is doing this is to promote the absurd idea of white supremacists going around committing anti-Asian hate crimes because Trump said China virus.

That's not even considering the clear constitutional challenge it will face for interfering with states' 10th amendment rights

The best way to win a clear constitutional challenge is to prevent a bill from becoming law in the first place, and the best way to do that is strangle it in the crib. If it makes it out of the crib, keep assaulting it until it dies. Trusting the other house of Congress to do the right thing is far too risky. Hoping five people in black robes will do the right thing has rarely worked out. I'm still waiting for them to restore the 2nd Amendment rights we lost in 1934.

I read an interesting theory on the current political situation with Putin.

Long story short, Biden's dead and Putin has intelligence that confirms it. The current administration is trying to threaten him into silence, but he has the cards.

Between the details in the boom mike incident and the ABC interview, there's enough suspicious stuff here for me to think he may be onto something. Didn't Biden normally have more guys around him before the recent videos? There's a suspicious lack of handlers.

So this means Billy C and Biden were high-fiving while spitroasting girls on Epstien’s island, right?

Bingo. Not only that, it’s happening around the one year anniversary of everything shutting down and the height of the “stay home, stay safe, flatten the curve” mantra. Also, this was a thing when the lockdowns were at their peak.

There's a strong recent history of the Court striking down dumbass federal statutes on 10th Amendment grounds. Kavanagh and Roberts might cuck, but it's not guaranteed.

Internal collapse. Who really, no matter the political leaning, is willing to die for modern America?
Probably Europe. As much as they hate us, they need us more than we need them. With out, China or Russia could come in and steamroll them into submission. Which china is trying to do so whatever.

I kinda hope the ROC will hold China off or the military will act when they see Biden standing by as our best defense against Chinese expansion is destroyed. Odds are very slim though. I can see China's neighbors threatening sanctions however.
I actually don't see China launching an outright assault on Taiwan proper, at least not in the next four years. Someone here (it might've been @Still Anonymous For This ?) mentioned Kinmen Island might be their first overt move and it seems pretty likely to me. It's right next door to the mainland and potentially could be seized rapidly and relatively bloodlessly like the Falklands were initially. Once that's done they can sit and dare the US and the ROC to do something about it and if they don't it's only a matter of time.
