See, that's vexing. She started using edibles/vaping on the regular even before she started Ozempic. Everybody knows that THC gives you the munchies. So she willingly took up a habit that would increase her appetite, knowing full well that she had "disordered eating" and ate too much as it was. Oh, and with her lung problems, she bought a pack of cigarettes. (Granted, she said it made her sick and she threw the pack out the window, but why buy it in the first place?) She's bound and determined not only to defy, but to self-sabotage.

Because no matter how used to the behavior you may be, you still know that it's wrong. I think it comes down to the behavior being more what you attribute to an animal than to a human.

In her specific case she will indeed require a colonoscopy. The surgeon will want to know with absolute certainty the state of her bowel before they perform any surgery on her digestive system, especially a bypass, as malabsorption can be a big enough issue for patients with a healthy bowel, let alone a patient that supposedly has C DIff (I press X to doubt this) and IBS. The fact that it was ordered before any talk of a potential WLS referral, pretty much sets that optional requirement in stone.

She really is carrying on like a gastric bypass is going to happen for her, and relatively soon. Wonder how her Intuitive Eating therapy session is going today. Thinking. It also sounded from yesterday's second live that she's set up some kind of meeting for today with subscribers who are in the local WLS system currently.
