Here's my hot take. I've always thought character redesigns can be fun, if they're done right. If the person who does the redesign acts like it's some justice they've done or they're doing out of activism or for clout it ruins any semblance of fun. Like, what's the point of doing shit like this if you're going to be snobby about it? Clout? Stupid. There's a huge difference in energy in an image where an artist goes "I drew this character as black because I feel connected to them" or "I thought it would be fun to draw this character black" vs "I drew this character black because theyre black coded and if you don't draw/think theyre black then you're racist".

Ahh yes the Blackening of Genshin, seems about right. Ho-ly hell the Beidou and Venti are a special kind of hell. Some of these show a mild amount of ability if they'd stop blackwashing literally everything to get woke points.

My own sister has a skintone that's slightly darker than ours because we have some mediterranean ancestry and it wasn't passed down to the rest of my family. She's basically like, the opposite of a white-passing poc.
I also think it's interesting to note that despite being a white person ("culturally"), she's already been the target of racist remarks in school about how she looks muslim or whatnot, and how she's "rejecting it" or "bound to go to hell when she dies" if she mentions she isn't. Sounds familiar?

Also, is the "following the show's fur colors" part your interpretation, or taken from op? Because if that's the artist's actual intent, Scoot and Babs should be swapped considering Babs is, indeed, brown, whereas Scootaloo is orange.

BF and GF are canonically 19, you're not wrong there, but pretty sure that Pico is 20-years-old in the FNF canon. I've been searching when was this said, but most people agree that Pico's School and Friday Night Funkin' are different canons but the latter comes after the former.

Regardless, ever since they started confirming and decorfirming that one joke about BF and Pico dating nobody knows what to make about it anymore, other than Pico is whatever you want him to be as a character and that he hates BF with a passion.​
