How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Rh
sperg/10, would facepalm again.

Is this guy seriously whining about plotholes in a movie with such a ridiculous premise?

"This above all else is what is irrationally infuriating..."
So... is he self-aware or is he just spouting random strings of words as long as they sound kinda complex?

And you were rooting for Tyrion in GoT until now, Bob? You better hope Brianna Wu doesn't hear that, you rape supporter!

Funny thing, after watching the scenes in his "review", the movie looks kinda cool. I don't like Sandler movies but Peter Dinklage is in it and the premise seems like fun.

I think I'll check it out. Thanks, Bob!
The premise was literally swiped from a part of an episode of Futurama. Add Adam Sandler to that and honestly the quality quite previously drops

Woah woah woah, goddamn Bob, did the entire production crew of the film burn your house, kill your dog, friends and neighbors, decry your "Religion of Mario", hold a book burning and then ass rape you? Really?

I may not see the movie, but I like the general idea behind it. And the effects actually look damn impressive for a Sandler/Happy Madison production, so I'll give it that.

Also, nice job telling the audience to go fuck themselves. You might as well tell your fans that they're a bunch of sheep that will eat up everything you say because they're idiots by this point.

Way to go Bob. Good job pissing on Iwata's memory for cheap "shock"-tweets about how butthurt you are because of a movie.

I thought I had seen the pinnacle of sperg with this movie's hate, but leave it to Bob to raise the pinnacle and unleash a salt avalanche.

Getting mad about Adam Sandler films is the zenith of autism.

Actually just going to an Adam Sandler film is too. They're junk, but they're inoffensive junk. The only person to be mad at is yourself for deciding to watch an Adam Sandler film in the first place.
Doesn't he realize that realizing Adam Sandler films aren't funny is one of the steps people take in becoming mature adults? It's like realizing wrestling/Santa isn't real, or that no one wants to listen about your shitty Sonic recolors.

I made it to the second minute of the review and I feel like I've run a marathon -- a marathon through neckbeard content-free inanity and verbal diarrhea.

I'm sure he still thinks Mario is real.

He claims to have had a threesome.
How much did he pay? Fruit basket afterwards?

I'm amused how he called it "Scott Pilgrim, but for assholes", when about every character in Scott Pilgrim is an asshole. Way to sound like an ass, Bobby.

I didn't even know "geek culture " was ever a thing that could be counted as an actual culture to be "appropriated". What's gonna need to be defended from appropriation next, all of pop culture?

You really gotta love his double standard. Geek culture is some sacred, important cultural relic that has to be treated with respect and dignity and defended from negative outside influence... unless it openly rejects the blatant controversy bait from the likes of Sarkeesian and the publications supporting her, in which case it's just a bunch of chauvinistic nerds who neee to get over themselves.

Geek culture and fandom has been its own subculture for a very long time; it's only recently that it's become "cool" and so blatantly catered to, so it's come back in vogue for people to hate on it; only you can't hate on them for being nerds, so you have to hate on them for being misogynists.

As @Meowthkip pointed out, geek culture was always around. Only back then, those people used to be abused for their love of Star Trek.

I think this "appropriation" of this culture started when "The Big Bang Theory" became a thing that existed and the companies thought they could continue the pandering with more movies and shows. It's been mixed, so to speak.

I just watched his tard rage/review and I have one thing to ask. Why bother?

Its an Adam Sandler movie, the chances that a movie with him in it is good are very low. Adam Sandler being put in a movie producer position should be screaming 'stay away' in one's mind. Just like having Micheal Bay as producer of a beloved 80s and 90s show should be a warning to flee the sight of a movie poster.

I alwys found it entertaining to watch MovieBob get angry at insignificant bullshit only he takes seriously. He literally took a year to get over Amazing Spiderman.

He NEVER got over Amazing Spiderman.

Ironically in one of his Big Pictures or Ovetthinker episodes, he said that the suddeness of interest of major studios in geek culture is a good thing. My how he quickly back paddles when it isn't of his enjoyment.

Oh yes, that. It is one of the most pathetic things that I have ever seen. It would have been sad, if Bob ain't such a prick.

To give him credit where its due, I can agree that Bob has a good arguement when he talks about Bay and the misuse of franchises. Sadly that is a drop compared to the sea of arguments he has no idea how to deal with.
